This is a heartfelt piece written to describe the composer's (my) sense of the world, currently. I feel that the world is in a dark place. My mind wandered into the music of Beethoven, or at least the music of his that I am aware of. Even after being dealt the worst blow to a musician, deafness he invariably finished his pieces in a positive, if not triumphal way. This piece also attempts to finish on a positive note, (pun most definitely intended) to uplift the listener.
