Alvin Lucier's I Am Sitting In A Room version 2. I picked any voice recording & reduced the vocals to only leave the resonance of the room where it was recorded. It's funny how techniques pioneered 50 years ago can be used by anyone nowadays. I only kept the mumbo jumbo gibberish of the last three minutes. To be discontinued. Alvin Lucier RIP.

A woman who writes feels too much, 
those trances and portents! 
As if cycles and children and islands
weren't enough; as if mourners and gossips

To celebrate the end of the endless summer. Here's a fieldrecording made at the Belgian beach with thunder, rain, people talking in several languages, jazz coming out of shops and pubs and the eternal heat of climate change conditions.

Thunder Street

An experiment. I buried a contact mic in the sand near the breakers and let the waves wash over it. I got this wavy wobbly sound with water crashing against stone. Gulls. Children playing. Experiment was conducted early in the morning at the Belgian coast. Ebb tide. No additional effects. Listen with headphones. Loud volume.
