A traditional slow air, which laments the loss of a boat that sank with all  in the Corrib river, Co. Galway, in 1828.

I'm playing this on my antique 'simple system' wooden flute, which was made c1840 in London by B.  Lee of Old Bond Street.

Here's an excerpt of the sound track composed using the sounds of cotton mill machines, to accompany Caroline Radcliffe, Lancashire clog dancer. 

Our dance and AV piece aims to highlight the industrial roots of Lancashire clog dancing by juxtaposing dance steps with the machine actions which directly inspired them. The Machinery (cotton mill sounds for sound and dance piece)

Multiple steamengine sounds routed through and effectef by VCV-rack modular virtual synth. 

The original tracks were recorded in Dordrecht NL in 2022 with a Zoom H1n handheld recorder - 48khz 24 bit stereoi.  The tracks were  "Cleaned etc" in Audacity.  I loaded the wave-files into VCV-rack. I combined and panned the files as well that I changed pitches and tempo's, added reverbs, etc. to the tracks. The final result was "cleaned" in Audacity again.
