A nice synth piece in C#m tracked in MIDI for hardware synths.  Tracked in StudioVision PPC on a Power Macintosh G3 running OS 9.2, hooked up to an OpCode Studio 4 MIDI interface.  Synths used were the Yamaha FB-01 FM synth from the 80s, KORG microKORG from the 00s, and a Radio Shack Optimus branded Casio from the 90s.

I found some awesome patches for the FB-01 online, and used SysEx 480 available at the Patchman Music website to send SysEx to the FB-01 via the Mac G3.  Digging through the patches, the FM synth brass patch called FLODTS inspired me to write this song.
