Luke Slater’s most well known pseudonym Planetary Assault Systems is back in the fullest swing with 'No Exit', a standalone EP following his famed 'Deep Heet' installment series. 'No Exit' unmistakably bears all the hallmarks of Planetary Assault System, from mind-tripping and floor-stirring hypnotic energy to the theme of pushing the outer limits of unknown territories.

The EP kicks off with the title track, at its first breath of rolling beat already infusing an ample dose of psychedelic madness, which only to be intensified with the layers of digital chime tones that are constantly multiplying and shape-shifting.

 “Undertow” on the B side continues with the signature warping and reverberating bells and bleeps but this time with enticing hi-hats and distorted bass, gradually all melting into one big sinister groove. The last track of the EP “Nanendi” might fool you in the beginning with its minimalistic beat, but as soon as the demure yet ominous veil of melody - beautifully moody and almost spooky at times - starts humming and howling, it’s well on its way to make a deep, haunting emotional connection while keeps the tension boiling.   

Without a doubt 'No Exit' EP is the one that shows the most distinctive core DNA of Planetary Assault Systems and much like his seminal album The Messenger, it’s a deadly unique, dazzling, and powerfully effective work that will stand the test of time.

On the flip side, Paul Boex, Mr. Labelboss himself and his partner in crime Marco Rane, make their début on the label with a soulful remix of this original. With impressive releases on Arms and Naked Lunch these guys prove once again that they are capable of bringing quality stuff to the floor. Once again another masterpiece from the Dynamic Reflection squad in your face! This time it’s up to Mr. Dynamic Reflection himself, Paul Boex and his biggest inspiration Oscar Mulero! Mulero has proved himself over and over again with amazing dance floor killers, such as some of his recent remixes for Grovskopa and Kike Pravda on his own imprint, Warm Up Recordings. On this he takes the title track “Paul Boex – Hate is Love” for his account, which resulted in of course....another masterpiece from the Spanish maestro! The original is a little more reserved by using a beautiful soundscape through the whole track and takes you away on an interesting journey. Cybersluts is more like an uplifting Detroit influenced
track which will work perfectly on the dance floor. Great work by this young talented rookie, let’s pray for more of this stuff. With ‘Iron Curtain’ Oscar shows us a different side of Mulero. He’s always developing himself and searching for interesting new things to bring back in his music. With this tune, he nailed it once again....we call it modern techno with one leg in the past. All ‘n all a superior release by this young kid and the Spanish maestro. Let’s pray for more of this pure quality stuff and keep our eyes on the the future. The scene need more 
labels like this which reflects the current techno movement and promises loads more of that sweet stuff in days to come...

The third vinyl adventure of NuLabel comes impregnated with authentic German Techno on the hills of Coeter, who signs two original tracks in addition to those of Ixel and Urbano.

Coeter opens the curtain with “110”, track with a deep technoid soul of fanfare, leisurely pace and a mix of raw and hypnotic sounds that drawn on the powerful bassline.

“145” presents the most upbeat and danceable side of Coeter, who submerges us into a univers of synthetic and atmosphericbeats colliding with each other causing a delicious sound reaction.

Ixel lands from Berlin to leave a remix of “110” also in techno key, where he uses practically the same original elements, looking for colder sensations thanks to a sharpe base and stealthy rythm of the track.

Finally the Brazillian Urbano activates all our senses in his remix of “145”, thanks to a sounding architecture of appearance more forceful and agressive tan the original, but with many elements that form a chaotic and high-flying track.

With this marking his inauguration into the scene, the title track ‘Bittersharp’ epitomizes his style in one word with staticky synths that jitter to and fro sending you into manic disarray. ‘Kobalt’ unrolls in the same style, still tart, yet polished with divergent drum patters interpreting his techniques. The final track ‘Arachnid’ conclusively delivers a real flavor of sophisticated synth work voyaging through the cosmos.

Having taken a short summer break, Mote-Evolver is back with something very special. Luke Slaterʼs Planetary Assault Systems alias needs little introduction having been at the very heart of techno since 1993. Taken from the first ever Mote-Evolver EP, GT is remixed and reworked to bring a classic bang-up-to-date.

James Ruskin brings his classic Detroit inspired sounds into the mix; creating a meandering journey of a mix; bringing out all the futuristic, industrial robot-funk of the original, piecing together the elements into one soulful and hypnotic whole.

Function & Jerome Sydenham continue their successful production partnership to create a dark and heavy rework. With both producers styles evident in the mix the melting pot of parts comes together as deep, abrasive warehouse techno.

Fittingly, Slater gets in on the act too, providing a selection of P.A.S. Rhythm & Beats and his own P.A.S. ʻDrone Sectorʼ remix; transporting the original straight out of 2006 and into 2010 with all the mesmerizing exquisiteness the original still intact.
