Leon was the last relic of a kingdom that forgot its own name.
He was born the moment the final star fell from the sky and shattered the cathedral roof.
The light that poured in that day never left his skin; it stayed, like a promise no one else remembered making.
He never ruled anything.
He never fought any war.
He simply walked through the collapsing halls, barefoot, letting the broken stained glass cut gentle patterns across his bare feet.
Every shard that fell sang a different memory of the world that used to be.
He listened to them all.
When the last bell cracked and the last choir voice faded into dust,
he closed his eyes, smiled once,
and let the dawn finish what it started.
He didn’t die, he didnt breathe either.
He just became the light the kingdom had been waiting for all along.

And somewhere in time, somehow,  in the quiet after the final chord,
he’s still standing there,
waiting for the  sunrise take him.
