1982, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Prince writes a song for Morris Day and The Time, using his guitarist's actual phone number. He fires up his Linn LM-1 and records a stock drumbeat (programmed by funk legend Tower of Power drummer David Garibaldi), lays down one of the funkiest basslines and guitar riffs of all time before Morris Day adds his lead vocals. 

The original song is brilliant, but I wanted an edit for my sets that removed the rock and roll guitar solo and extended some other bits. Hopefully you get some use in your sets too.
