You guys should have seen my face when I cleaned out my old storage unit in Atlanta and found these old mixes. Unfortunately I'm not the most organized and I am really not a saver but for some strange reason I saved a few of these sets that I put on CD between 2002 and 2005. There were a few CD-J decks floating around back then but I didn't know anyone that had one yet, all the DJ's I knew were still using vinyl but you could tell a change was coming fast. Record stores started closing left and right and it was really sad but a few of us kept on playing that Wax! This set is from 2002, I was 35 with a head full of hair (Ha-Ha) "Locs" to be exact. My playing style was very fast meaning I didn't really let the songs breathe, I played 21 tunes in this set but most of the mixes back then I was squeezing 28 songs into an 80 minute CD (LOL). My style has changed over the years but I'm still having a blast and still totally in love with The Music!!! (Enjoy)

Well, 2022 keeps rolling along at full speed. I can't believe we are almost at the end of September! We have definitely had some really good Soulful House Music drop this year (IMO). If you've listened to the last few sets of mine you'll see that I've been bangin' Charles Dockins stuff left and right. I absolutely love his sound.
