Christmas Day On The Eastern Shore

This one has a back story. I am first and foremost a fine artist: drawing, painting, that sort of thing. A lot of my drawings are abstract works, and while I create those works I listen to music. So pretty much my abstract drawings are my emotional reaction to a piece of music. Recently I tried to pursue a series where instead of me listening to music to create the work, I create an abstract drawing and then gift it to a musician/composer to create a score that would then be performed by someone. This is the culmination of a collaboration between myself and a good friend of mine who is a composer. I gave him two abstract works, and after about a month and a half, he created this piece for piano. I hope you all enjoy the piece my friend has created.
