Onedotsixtwo remains focused on bring together the finest global talent with its 30th release. Australia as a hotbed of unique talent is once again in the spotlight as two of Melbourne’s most exciting DJ/Producers, John Baptiste & Liam Sieker, combine their immense creativity and unleash a trio of outstanding tracks, collectively titled ‘Neon Skies’. Staying with the global theme, excellent remixes of ‘Neon Sky’ and ‘Neon Sunset’ come from Argentina’s Analog Jungs and India’s Weird Sounding Dude.

Opening with the subtle percussive vocodered beauty of ‘Neon Sky’, John Baptiste & Liam Sieker reveal their gorgeous, hypnotic deepness that morphs perfectly into the pulsating energy of ‘Neon Sunset’ as darkness falls. They then keep the energy level flowing with the acid tinged, heavy groove of ‘Neon Sunrise’ to complete their perfectly formed trio of diverse yet cohesive, proper progressive tracks.

The first of our remixes comes from Analog Jungs, the multi-talented and legendary Argentinian duo Claudio Cornejo and Gustavo Ruarte. Returning to the label on the back of their excellent ‘Marbella’ / ‘Vancouver’ (ODST0025) double-header, they deliver a uniquely impassioned interpretation of ‘Neon Sky’ that builds and soars with euphoric majesty.

Completing this 30th exceptional release package is the wonderfully named Weird Sounding Dude, who was first introduced to onedotsixtwo fans via his ‘Hugel’ track on Gustin’s recent ‘Synchronicity’ (ODST0019) mix comp. As one of India’s most intriguing progressive house artists, he always looks to stretch his music further than the traditional and here he builds a fabulous low-slung, percussive groove around ‘Neon Sunset’ and dives deep into textures and fx to weave a distinctive and powerfully hypnotic spell.

The South American connection is once again strong as onedotsixtwo continues to showcase the finest proper progressive talent emerging around the globe in 2020. This time, Brazilian DJ/Producer Luciano Scheffer and DJ/Producer/Drummer Julián Nates from Argentina combine their immense studio talents and present their label debut ‘Febo’.

‘Febo’ is an immediately hypnotic exposition of the duo’s immense studio talents. They dial up an irresistible energy flow and fire up impeccable melodic hooks to take the track on a soaring journey towards the heavens, creating a wonderfully hypnotic masterpiece. Luciano Scheffer & Julián Nates have a uniquely delicate touch that lets their music breathe and express its positivity to perfection, and there’s more to come. With its instantly addictive hip-swinging rhythm, ‘Baco’ steadily evolves into another pulsating, hypnotic journey, laced with floating layers of subtle melodic beauty, forming a flawless partner for ‘Febo’.

Studio collaborations are always an interesting prospect and Luciano Scheffer’s trademark style merging progressive house and techno, with hypnotic sounds and deep atmospheres, combined with Julián Nates’ background as a musician who already played drums, piano and violin, prior developing his electronic music production and DJ skills, creates a wonderfully expressive chemistry between these rising stars.

onedotsixtwo keeps the worldwide progressive flame burning bright in 2020 with its latest release, bringing together the finest talent from 3 continents. Renowned Buenos Aires-based DJ/Producer Sebastian Busto makes his label debut with December and The Miracle, and the label enlists the remix talents of Dmitry Molosh, Zankee Gulati and Lèrr to create an array of stunning interpretations across another exceptional 5-track onedotsixtwo package.

The pulsating energy of December is immediately mesmerising as Sebastian Busto creates the perfectly beautiful dreamy atmosphere that he is renowned for. Elegantly layered melodies float and flow with flawless precision, as his unique musical vision is showcased magnificently. Following on, The Miracle dives deeper with a wonderfully evocative percussive groove and equally blissful melodic layering that, once again, perfectly displays this Argentine artist’s immense talents to perfection. Having previously released on the likes of Balkan Connection, The Soundgarden and Movement, Sebastian Busto’s onedotsixtwo debut will be a 2020 highlight for sure.

The first December remix comes from Belarusian DJ/Producer Dmitry Molosh. Celebrated for his inimitable progressive sound, Dmitry is at the forefront of the new wave of the current scene as one of its most talented forward thinking electronic artists. His stunning remix is fuelled with funk and fire to create an utterly enthralling ride fuelled with rising anticipation and spine-tingling euphoric elation. 

Through his love of exploring progressive realms of music, the Sydney-based Australian DJ/Producer Zankee Gulati is rapidly making his mark on the scene. A blossoming production career has already seen him exhibit his immense talents on the likes of Clinique, Soundteller, Particles, Visceral, Balkan Connection, and most recently, The Soundgarden. His remix of December has seen exclusive early support from Hernan Cattaneo on his Resident radio show, and it is easy to see why. Deeply hypnotic and with a wonderfully intricate arrangement this is masterfully melodic music of the highest order.

Completing this expansive 5-track package is an utterly blissful remix of The Miracle courtesy of Lèrr. This Montenegrin DJ/Producer is recognised for his unique style combining groovy, deep, melodic, progressive vibes. His enchanting musical creations have appeared on Balkan Connection, Sound Avenue, Asymmetric, Trndmsk and more so far in 2020, and his deeply delicious reworking of The Miracle stands out as one of his finest yet.
