THEMATIC EXPLORATION is the new electronic infused hybrid soundtrack album by Peter Heckmann and members of the Ethnic World Orchestra, released in June 2024.

The title "THEMATIC EXPLORATION" reflects the recurring musical motifs woven throughout this conceptual album. Each piece is a variation on three core melodic themes set in C minor, all underpinned by a steady rhythmic framework at 90 BPM, with a foundation of repeating single-note bass lines.

Despite these self-imposed constraints, the songs exhibit a rich diversity of moods. This varied emotional landscape is achieved through a vibrant array of ethnically infused vocal performances and a multitude of distinctive solo interpretations.
