Here's the "AFTER" of my demo experiment. I used the same project in Sonar X3.. only I recorded NEW guitar tracks using the new pickups.  All the mix settings were the same.. and I used the SAME guitar (Carvin ST300), same amp and pedal ... with all the same settings. The ONLY difference is the bridge and neck Duncan Custom pickups.

Signal chain: Carvin ST300 with SD pickups> Green Screamer> Tubemeister 18 (SILENT mode)> Via RED BOX OUT> Saffire Pro 40> Sonar X3.

Here's another mix.. with less room/reverb on the snare drum...  again I will use this as a backing track "live." This is actually a demo version of a song that is coming out soon from my new CD called "The Atlantis Suite." Stay tuned for more.. =)

A baseline mix to compare future progress against. Been using and getting acquainted with Console 1 Mk3. =) 

It sure sounded better in my DAW. Seems the mp3 compression does mess with it. It's mp3 at 44.1 @256k or something.
