After a longer break, label boss Peter Makto is back on Zenebona Records. Peter Makto is not a trend-following artist at all. He follows musical solutions that best express the connection between music and emotions. 

This time, he enriches the life of the label with a slowly building, meticulous, detailed, dynamic but uplifting production filled with many sounds. 'Chakra Boogie' showcases the pulsation and connection of the energies within us through music. It symbolizes inner happiness in sounds. DSF, the honorary resident of the label's events and a permanent artist of the label, has made a remix.

As a pilgrim 2 weeks ago I took a long journey to arrive to play a set at that place what is more like a temple for me...to play here is really different....music drives the people to have a good mood during the dinner time...and music leads the people into the dance after the sunset....

These sets are a kind of meditations for me....from the deeper vibes into the light...

When we recorded this set, I had a great crowd....I could play tracks from 1981 till 2022 and the biggest thing was when a really old couple just came to the dance floor and they were dancing with us for Donna Summer - I feel love (Hot TuneiK Remix)

It was a really special birthday for me....never forget! Thx for all!

why is this set so special to me ???

...good to know: Nick Warren is one of the most important icon of the Hungarian scene (luckily we have more)....but he made the GLOBAL UNDERGROUND CD release call BUDAPEST so it is a strong connection for many years between the party people and him.....generations grew up under his "hands" and we always got quality music...earlier I played with him many many times as a local warm up dj and later I could play after him also, that was also huge.....for me always a big honor to stay in the same booth with him or with the legends...nothing changed inside of me.....always a big day in my life when I can play with one of the masters like Nick.....after the years to release on his label was already a miracle....but one day to represent The Soundgarden label as a DJ in Budapest...it is something what maybe I can't explain very well.....to play front of the musically most critical crowd in Hungary is difficult even though they support me....but I was there like a guest DJ so I needed to play something memorable from 2AM till 4:30AM....and internationally quality tooo...but I tell this thing even a very short way too: WHEN THE DREAMS COME TRUE :))

Thank you for your coming, dancing and supporting me! But first of all thank you to Nick Warren to support me / my music. This opportunity is like a xmas gift this year....and of course huge thx to CinemaHall for having me and requested me to play in this party...

I'm thrilled to represent Hungary at Nick Warren's renowned brand, 'The Soundgarden', known globally for quality progressive house music. Playing as a main artist in Budapest rather than local support is both an honor and a challenge. I aim to deliver a set that makes Hungary proud and meets the high standards expected by Nick Warren. This time, I showcased a 90% progressive house set including some tracks and remixes of mine, hoping you enjoy my unique 'soundgarden' journey.

Welcome with love the 10th anniversary release of Truesounds Music, featuring 10 excellent quality club tracks in characteristic styles of the label such as: deep house, progressive house, melodic house & techno, house. The founder of Truesounds Music is Peter Makto, whose important mission and guiding principle in his work include supporting and discovering emerging talents at the beginning of their careers. 

Therefore, once again, we haven't picked trendy artists from the top shelf but instead support those who might not be able to make themselves heard without us. Another important aspect for us is to support Hungarian artists because Hungary is a very small country and has never been able to occupy a significant position in the electronic music industry. 

We believe that despite our technical shortcomings and lack of learning opportunities, we are competitive with the international electronic music scene! We believe that these 10 tracks can be a good friend to many DJs at parties; each creation is completely usable!

In the early 90’s Peter falls in love with electronic music as escapism from his troubled and abusive childhood. Underground electronic music was new, exciting and Peter’s rebellious soul was soon captivated. His love for music has been constant ever since.

Headphones and listening excessively to loud music not only served its purpose of exclusion from the world, but this was the beginning of his musical journey. After listening to single tracks, he soon moved on to DJ sets, as the long journeys and the artistic freedom that characterized these were something he could strongly relate to.

This was when he started his vast and multi-genre vinyl collection and soon after moved on to playing and mixing these. He found extreme joy in music and started to build his own world which orbited around it. Mixing different genres was euphoric, he became a fanatic collector and a passionate disc jockey.

His sets are reflections of his current state of mind and he often improvises when in the booth to spice it up. He is always lost in the moment and instantly connects with the crowd. The music is a manifestation of Peter’s emotions.

He favors extended sets, relishing the chance to truly exhibit his talent and deliver captivating mixes across a spectrum of house music genres. He's a versatile house DJ, adept at navigating various styles within the genre. His preference leans towards emotionally charged yet dynamic house music, seamlessly blending deep house, progressive house, and organic house. Occasionally, he infuses melodic elements to sustain the dancefloor's energy.

He has dedicated over 20 years of his life to electronic music and as a result, now manages three labels plus the Truesounds Music Promotion and Management. Hard work finally paid off.

He is more of a DJ but recently started to focus on production as well. His own releases are created in collaboration with co-producers and sounds engineers.

Another year has passed, and another huge birthday party awaited us. At the daytime event, I warmed up the audience with a cheerful and emotional set during the usual two hours of the IKREK Boat party, before my traditional all-night-long performance following the boat ride. 

According to my horoscope, the daytime event is a big celebration for those born under the Gemini sign, with performances by artists from my Truesounds Music and Zenebona labels. 

Once again, the party was spectacular, thanks and gratitude to the Cruisin team for the organization and execution! 

A wonderful audience came out again. It was a joy and a pleasure to play music!

👉 This year, the NOMAD TRIBAL GATHERING was a new experience for me. I played a 3-hour set in a magical location in the forest, on a beautiful clearing by the lake! I was given the opportunity by the organizers to showcase my sound to a new community. 

I approached the set with the vibe of the TRIBAL GATHERING, gradually building the energy in a very slow but intentional way. The location inspired me, and I tried to select as much music as possible that felt close to nature and magic. 

Of course, the intense party tracks were also included, and as usual, I slowed things down at the end with beautifully emotional tunes. I am grateful to have been a part of this wonder! Hope to see you again in 2025 ☀️

Hi guys, here’s another remix from those happy '90s. I heard the acapella version of this track back then, mixed into other songs. It was amazing how my favorite DJ did it all with vinyl records, flawlessly and with such precision.

The lyrics immediately grabbed me and confirmed that I, too, belonged to that huge 'HOUSE music-loving family' that spans the world. I always wanted a version that brought out the old elements but felt fresh and modern. Well, here it is!

It was a huge milestone in my life to perform in the main hall of the legendary Zurich HIVE Club with many great artists in the line up! 

I had been waiting for this opportunity for years. After the performance, I stayed at the club until 7 AM to relax a bit with that amazing crowd. Clearly, the good flow didn't end in the morning. 

After a few hours of sleep, we played another 3 hours on Sunday afternoon in a pleasant private after-hours setting. We also recorded this B2B set. It turned out to be a very nice, true journey-like AFTER HOURS set.

Aztán jön a nagy nap, amikor gondolkozás nélkül az szólal meg ami éppen az első gondolatom a dj pultban a szelektálás közben. Nincs tudatos terv és nincs semmilyen irány. Nincs megfelelés csak a PLAY gomb és a hangerő. Az effektek és a potik. Minden évben meghatározó számomra ez a buli, mert azt csinálhatok amit szeretnék és TI ezt elnézitek nekem, sőt mi több támogattok ebben és táncoltok meg mosolyogtok, élvezitek. Nincs nagyobb ajándék egy DJ számára, mint amikor van egy olyan buli, amikor egy pillanatig sem kell gondolkoznunk, hogy vajon jó lesz e a következő zene ?!?! - mégis minden IKREK buli után bennem feszül egy érdekes érzés, hogy vajon JÓ VOLT? - nem maradt ki semmi ?? Az idei IKREK mixben valamiért kevesebb a techno, és kevesebb a nagyon régi sláger, tempóban is visszafogottabb, viszont több benne az aktuális. Persze a buli utolsó 2 órája az az igazán nagy zenékről szólt, így TSak azt tudom javasolni, hogy gyűjtsétek be az összes anyagot és EGYBEN éljétek át azt ami OTT volt ismét Siófokon! Hálás köszönet !! Hihetetlen boldogság nekem ez amit Tőletek kapokt! Kellemes zenehallgatást és köszi a támogatást mind a közel 1700 embertől akik eljöttek egyet bulizni!

In the early 90’s Peter falls in love with electronic music as escapism from his troubled and abusive childhood. Underground electronic music was new, exciting and Peter’s rebellious soul was soon captivated. His love for music has been constant ever since.

Headphones and listening excessively to loud music not only served its purpose of exclusion from the world, but this was the beginning of his musical journey. After listening to single tracks, he soon moved on to DJ sets, as the long journeys and the artistic freedom that characterized these were something he could strongly relate to.

This was when he started his vast and multi-genre vinyl collection and soon after moved on to playing and mixing these. He found extreme joy in music and started to build his own world which orbited around it. Mixing different genres was euphoric, he became a fanatic collector and a passionate disc jockey.

His sets are reflections of his current state of mind and he often improvises when in the booth to spice it up. He is always lost in the moment and instantly connects with the crowd. The music is a manifestation of Peter’s emotions.

He favors extended sets, relishing the chance to truly exhibit his talent and deliver captivating mixes across a spectrum of house music genres. He's a versatile house DJ, adept at navigating various styles within the genre. His preference leans towards emotionally charged yet dynamic house music, seamlessly blending deep house, progressive house, and organic house. Occasionally, he infuses melodic elements to sustain the dancefloor's energy.

He has dedicated over 20 years of his life to electronic music and as a result, now manages three labels plus the Truesounds Music Promotion and Management. Hard work finally paid off.

He is more of a DJ but recently started to focus on production as well. His own releases are created in collaboration with co-producers and sounds engineers.

Connecting with people and creating long-lasting memories is what really makes him tick. The DJ booth is his true home.
