With WMC having just passed, there was just so much music going around that it was difficult to finalize this mix. An Electro House / Progressive House set that's seen many iterations over the past month or so. I finally finished it today. The feel and sound of this along with the title of the mix pretty much sums up my life over the past few months. You'll see what I mean.

Neurologix - Flying Away From The Stress of it All

A mixtape that I have had going over in my head for the past 2 years. It wasn't until the recent resurgence in a Facebook group dedicated to the Edge nightclub in Ft Lauderdale, FL. that I got inspired to go back in the lab and finish it.

To the uninitiated, the Edge Nightclub is where I spent over 6 years of my life on a weekly basis. It was here that I grew up and learned that it was OK to be different and it was here that I learned that electronic dance music or EDM was the music that would define who I am.

Over the years many DJ's held residences in this nightclub. Among them were Bruce Wilcox, Dru, Stryke and Mike Sharpe. And it is because of them that I decided to try and learn their craft. For some the Edge was just another nightclub but for most of us it was HOME.While the Edge has changed names and management and is now known as Revolution, the Edge is what I will always remember it by.

This mix is my tribute to that time and place.

Since the early 90's he has been immersed in deep underground dance music as a club kid in NYC and at the infamous Edge Nightclub in Ft Lauderdale, FL.
