The latest installment in our free download series welcomes Nicolas Rada for his third appearance. Upon beginning his career in 2007, Nicolas quickly became a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo where his original productions and private remixes become a staple in the sets of the storied DJ. Hailing from Buenos Aires, the Argentinean artist eventually found a home on Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden and Eelke Kleijn’s Days Like Nights where his groovy progressive sound has flourished. 2017 proved to be a breakout year, highlighted by his first remix collaboration with Nick Warren, where the duo reworked Upercent’s ‘Pulsacions’ to both critical and commercial success. Now frequent studio partners, Nicolas and Nick have continued to build a strong studio synergy showcasing their original material on Nick’s The Soundgarden imprint while also recording a string of impressive remixes for Get Physical, Monday Social Music, Proton Music and Timeless Moment. On the solo front, Nicolas has also continued to prosper with an appearance on Patrice Buamel’s GU Berlin compilation, along with original projects for Sudbeat Music and TRYBESof. Having first appeared on our free download series with his hugely sought-after remake of Bjork’s ‘Mutual Core’ in 2019 and then again in 2020 with an equally large rendition of Underworld’s ‘Cowgirl’, we’re happy to welcome Nicolas back with a huge interpretation of the Depeche Mode classic ‘Precious’. Initially remixed by progressive house icons Sasha and Spooky in 2005, Nicolas now brings a new perspective to the track which has been championed by John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. For our first free download of the year we welcome Adam Sellouk to the series for his first appearance. Hailing from Israel, Adam Sellouk first emerged in 2021 with a contribution to Steyoyoke’s Paradigm collection. Immediately recognized for his astral sound, Adam quickly caught the attention of world class DJ Miss Monique, who signed him to her Siona Records imprint for a two-track showcase later that same year. 2022 would see further successes for Adam, with Nora En Pure’s Purified imprint being the landing spot for ‘Mirage’, a well received production which saw play from Agents of Time, Innellea, Kevin de Vries and Mathame. Also an accomplished DJ, Adam has been a fixture of his country’s nightlife of late, programming music for some of Tel Aviv’s trendiest venues. A recent highlight of Adam’s sets has been his much requested rendition of Empire of the Sun’s ‘We Are The People’. As the second single from the band’s debut album ‘Walking on a Dream’, the track would go on to achieve critical and commercial success, ultimately peaking at #1 in Germany by the end of 2010. With a career that spans over three decades, Hernan Cattaneo has recorded eleven albums, thirty singles and fifty remixes, all while touring the world delighting passionate music lovers with his impeccable taste and exquisite programming skills.

Meanwhile, Australian artist Jamie Stevens has achieved an amazing level of critical and commercial success over the course of his three-decade long career. As one of his country’s most talented and sought-after artists, Jamie has proven his skill in professional sound design, film scores and contemporary electronic music. Prolific and consistent in equal measure, Jamie has enjoyed a creative swell in recent years, landing releases via Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream, John Digweed’s Bedrock Records and Guy J’s Lost & Found.

The third member of the trio is American artist, DJ and promoter Anton Tumas. With a career that spans well over a decade, the Los Angeles resident has left an inevitable mark on the underground scene through his Subtract On The Pier residency and burgeoning Subtract Music imprint.

Last year the trio combined their extensive forces and took to reworking Pink Floyd's ‘Breathe (In the Air)’. Released in 1973 as part of the band’s iconic ‘The Darkside of the Moon’ album, the much lauded song remains as one of the group’s most revered and recognized creations. After several live airings by Hernan Cattaneo, perhaps most notably at BNP Open Life, the trio’s take on the iconic song has been shrouded in mystery, with fans hypothesizing who reworked the track in such grand fashion. For 3 Decades, PeterPan and his friends has been pushing the boundaries of the Underground Scene up in the north of Europe in Oslo, Norway.

Based in Oslo, Norway, Peter is a seasoned DJ
with a profound love for vinyl and an unwavering 
passion for electronic music. 
Peter's musical journey began in the early 80s 
when he was captivated by the movie Beat Street, 
Peter purchased his first SL1210 turntables, 
marking the beginning of his vinyl journey. 
This marked the inception of his exploration 
into various genres, including hip hop, italo disco 
and the pulsating club music of that era.

As the sound evolved, Peter found himself deeply 
influenced by the emergence of Chicago house, 
hip house, and acid, 
which left an indelible mark on his musical sensibilities. 
Embracing his identity as a DJ 
he embarked on an exhilarating period of 
heavy-duty partying and secured a residency 
at Qurel, a prominent Oslo club that was 
at the forefront of the house music scene 
in the late 80s. Simultaneously, he became 
a staple at underground house parties, 
leaving an unforgettable impression 
on the Oslo music scene.

In the mid-80s, Peter's fascination with technology 
led him to experiment with techno gadgets, 
such as the iconic TB-303 and TR-606. 
Over time, favorites like the TR-808, TR-909, 
Juno 106, Jupiter 8, and Akai S-900 became 
integral components of his setup. 
With the advent of MIDI and his acquisition 
of a Mac equipped with Cubase, 
Peter seamlessly connected his array of gear, 
culminating in the release of his album 

"Homegrown" 

This milestone marked the birth of his own label, 
NeverLand Productions, and showcased his 
versatility under the pseudonym Peter Pan.

In 1996, Peter's journey took him to Koh Phangan, 
a mesmerizing island in southern Thailand. 
He landed a residency at the Vinyl club on 
Haad Riin beach, the legendary birthplace 
of Full Moon parties, attracting crowds of 
up to 10,000 partygoers each month. 
Additionally, he performed at numerous 
events throughout his stay in Thailand, 
including unforgettable gigs alongside Dave 
at the renowned Backyard club.

In 1998, Peter and his friend Øyvind Jambor 
embarked on an epic adventure, driving from Oslo 
to Ibiza in Peter's trusty car. 
Their determination paid off as they secured 
a DJ residency in a bar in Ibiza town, 
where they delivered dj sets throughout 
the season, captivating audiences 
with their musical selections.

Subsequently, Peter indulged in the pleasure of 
music production, exploring software like Cubase, 
Reason, StudioOne, and Ableton Live. 
Fuelled by his creativity, he released tracks on 
labels such as Small Records, Avocado Dream, 
Evader Records, Aquavit Beats, 
SoHappy Recordings and Oyhopper Records, 
under aliases like PeterPan303 and, 
more recently, Peter Greenwood.

From Oslo's underground scene to international 
stages, he has graced venues like: 
Confusion, Betong, Rockefeller, John Dee, 
Sentrum Scene, Uforia, Norefjell, Nebb, 
Borgen, Barbeint, Skansen, Exit, 
Hausmania, Pure, Sementfabrikken, 
Quart Festival, PUSH, XL, Sjokoladefabrikken, 
Golden Gate (Berlin), Sikamikanico, 
as a co founder of the Safari Festival- 
deep in the South Norwegian forest, 
Øyhopper/Footworks, Hjertøya Festival, 
and the Midnightsun Festival in Lakselv.
 
Noteworthy collaborations include legendary 
artists such as Sasha, John Digweed, Guy J,
Nick Warren, Way Out West, Steve Parry, 
Inkfish, Boris Brecha, Fluke, Luv Dup, 
Phaxe, Morten Granau, PsySex, Flowjob, 
Ethnoscope, Atmos, Banel, HuxFlux
