London’s long standing Sunday party purveyors, WetYourSelf!, drop the second in their vinyl only limited series with WYS! co-founder Peter Pixzel and Herr stepping up to the plate.

Side A serves up two weighty minimal rollers, complete with heavy basslines, pounding kicks, crisp hats and glitchy bleeps.

On the flip ‘Nexcro’ maintains that WetYourSelf asthetic yet teases in some intergalactic synthwork, echoed out to melt any minds it’s put before. To close out the e.p. ‘Topup’ moves down a darker path with a tougher soundscape, haunting synth breakdown and pulsating percussion.

WYSL002 offers a weighty follow up of four peaktime rollers from the WetYourSelf! camp… be quick, don’t sleep!

Peter Pixzel is a London based DJ/Producer, co-founder of WetYourSelf, the former weekly party at fabric in London, Jacob Husley, and also one half of musical duo APP.

Born in Copenhagen, Peter Pixzel began his musical journey as a DJ playing house music, his naturally inquisitive mind led him to learn the skill of production and create music of his own.

A decade later, now in London, Peter began organising parties as part of trio WetYourSelf, and has recently celebrated his Twelveth year residency at fabric. Their commitment to creating a party with un-rivalled line-ups which embrace emerging talent as well as established names has ensured a dedicated following, and a reputation for the most loved house and techno night in the City.

Following the success of their club night Peter proudly launched WYS! Recordings in 2010 alongside Cormac and Jacob. Their impressive roster features original releases and remixes from artists such as; Alex Under, Chris Liebing, Miss Kittin, Fabrizio Maurizi, Pig & Dan, Marc Houle, Kasper Bjorke, Kiki, Chloe and Jennifer Cardini.

As well as original releases under his own name Peter is known for his other project APP – a production force and live act in partnership with fellow Dane August Jacobson, boasting releases on labels such as Dinaymic, Kindisch, Watergate and naturally on his own imprint WetYourSelf Recordings.
