Created for the #NowScoreThis challenge.  Inspired by the moment Flash chooses to travel back in time to save his mother Nora, no matter the consequences.

This track could certainly do with loads of polish work, but wanted to jump in  the for this seasons #NowScoreThis this weekend.  Inspired by and using guitar stems 'At the Speed of Force'.

I loved the short film and really enjoyed scoring to it.  I see so many different takes on this.  For me, it was an intimate short, a man with inner turmoil battling his fear and confronting it.

The Thin Red Line - Epic Cover

Red Hell is inspired by the fantastic Artwork created by Artist-Lost, Orphan Dust for an Art Inspired Challenge. (Note, events in music will not align with the comic).

Story:
We follow a single main protagonist, a soldier part of their team. The team call in the evacuation while the fight ensues, no call is returned. Looking up, the evac ship is visible, airborne in the distance headed our heroes way, but it suddenly explodes and plummets while engulfed in flames. More monsters scale the building and the soldiers fight with all their might. The team give it their all, every last breath to destroy the beasts, but the monsters are overwhelming and slaughter all in their reach.

In defeat, out of ammunition and out of soldiers, two last soldiers retreat into a closed control room closing the secure doors behind them. A wounded soldier bleeds out, leaving only our main protagonist left. Our main character, stands up faces the doors and takes out a single pistol. The monsters break into the facility and storm toward the control room. Our character stands in the middle of the control room bracing the weapon, pointing it to the solid doors as the monsters pound on them, bending the metal. Suddenly the security doors are breached with sheer force and the monsters rush our main character, shredding them of their life.

Red Hell - Inspired by Comic, Orphan Dust [Cinematic]

With the Netflix version not released I thought I'd try and compose a recreation of what I was hearing in Stranger Things S4 Episode 4.  The orchestral elements, synth and drum elements are all recreated and blended with the original track.  

It's nowhere near exact as it can be challenging to hear the music under the SFX and Dialogue, but it should be a much clearer version compared to the removal techniques others are using to isolate it.

My entry for Evenant Cinematic Five Sessions.

I wanted to create a piece which had the section complement and build but also portray the story of a soldier boarding a train for war.

What inspired this piece was also the visual that a couple would dance for their last time, while others around boarded.  Kind of like elegance surrounded by chaos.

Assignment: M2A2 - 8 Bar Trailer Crescendo

Produced for the AIM2020 [Art inspired Music] Contest, where you selected a persons art for inspiration for a piece of music.

The artist produced a cyberpunk piece which encapsulates a Sci-Fi battle of immense scale. Which was really appealing from a storytelling and visual perspective.

The track is a Cinematic Cyberpunk track, containing hybrid orchestral, synths, choir and aggressive percussive trailer like elements. The track has a 'Dark Mix', rather than something brighter / scooped you'd expect within a trailer. The track does have story-points I had in mind, so I thought I'd sum up here.

0:00 - The innocent carnage
1:00 - It's monstrous
1:33 - It Strikes back, chopper down
2:01 - Ground Assault
2:30 - Fight it
3:20 - I'll take one for my team - Sacrifice for the opening
4:33 - Final Assault
5:00 - "We take it down, here!".
5:29 - Final blow, crashing down.
