Hi Everyone, I'm excited for you to hear The Winding Way. I worked on this record for over one year during the time of the global pandemic and lock down. Tucked away from the world in my home studio, these songs came forth from my heart and soul during this difficult time for all of us. As in music so in life says the back cover. I have found as many others have that our life is not a trek from point A to point B , but rather a meandering journey down the Winding Way with many unexpected twists and turns along the path to the destination of our hopes and dreams. Another one from my archives! I composed and recorded this piece for the film Celestine prophecy . I had met James and Sally Redfield at a conference and ended up on stage with them playing my harp for a guided meditation which they led. Later James took me out to dinner and asked me if I would like to compose a piece for his new movie. My intention was to bring together the elements of Peru and the Catholic church which play predominatly in the film. Of course I was very excited for the chance. Unfortunately James did not use my composition and went with a traditional piece of Gregorian chant music. Looking through my boxes I found this old CD and decided to share with you. The song features me on harp,keyboards,pan pipes and vocals and my good friend Ani Williams sings beautiful angelic voice! Robin Miller adds some spakle with the mandolin. Enjoy!! download enabled!
