I wrote this short tune back in February 2009 as a grade 5 examination piece. Back then, our late dog Bertie was 11 months old, extremely lively, and was a great source of joy. The tempo suggested for grade 5 was about 130 bpm, but I`ve chosen 152 bpm here as Bertie was pretty fast back then.
