I never set myself any challenges (let alone time constraints) when it comes to composing, but when Maxime called me to create a track in 24 hours and then play it the next day at a festival, I immediately loved the idea. We had a lot of fun in the studio and on stage. Thanks Maxime!

This video for 'Beam' is a metaphor of the genesis of my debut album “Presence”: a long journey, from unreal situations to the next. It’s only now that I realize of all the path I’ve taken these last months, the disproportionate achievement we’ve forged with hard work, with the kind of stubbornness that enables us to realize our dreams.

Wake Up est un morceau en collaboration avec Bipolar Sunshine. Nous avions pensé ce morceau comme une vague de fraicheur pop teinté d'un groove électronique, où les paroles sombres et révoltés viennent contredire cette joie inscrite dans la mélodie. 

The collaboration with Bipolar Sunshine and Cautious Clay on Wake Up was a blast. We created this track as a fresh wave of pop with a ting of electronic groove, where the raw and rebellious lyrics contradict the happiness inscribed in the melody.

Cautious Clay: The inspiration for "Wake Up" came from being caught up in uninspired situations lacking purpose or vision and needing to reconcile with that.

Problems (ft. Lido)

Check out Petit Biscuit’s new single, “Suffer”. 

Petit Biscuit: 
"This track has been in the making for a year now, and at first I used it as an outlet to release some energy, screaming into the microphone. One of my initial recordings made it into the track, that siren sounding shout at the beginning. That's in part why it's called "Suffer", composing it helped me get over some painful moments. At some point it thought it would be better with some quality vocals, and so I asked singer SKOTT to try something with it. I loved her music before that, and what she sent immediately felt right.  Because of the distance (she is based in Sweden), we couldn't meet during the production, but she understood the vibe of the track perfeclty, with her lyrics being about loneliness and despair. The melodies she sings also communicates the lonely and weird atmosphere of the track."

Skott: 
“When I heard that Petit Biscuit wanted to try something together I got really intrigued, he’s such an interesting artist with a lot of idea and edge to his sound. The song we made is pretty playful yet in-your-face song and I had so much fun writing on it. Sometimes when you go through a breakup you get this feeling that you’re unbreakable, even stronger than before. It’s got a bit of that vibe in the lyrics.”

“We first met when Shallou supported me on my first American tour and what I saw on stage was absolutely crazy. Joe is a passionate guy and a nice human being and we became friends. I came to the US in April 2019 for a change of scenery to get some inspiration for my new music and I invited Joe to come to where I was staying to work on some music together. We spent hours listening to a lot of different stuff and tried lots of different things, but it wasn’t until a few months later that we had finally found the perfect tune to collaborate on. "I Leave Again" is about the end of a relationship with all of its nostalgia, but we've tried to turn it into "the song to a new start," with all of the excitement that it can bring.” - Petit biscuit

“In some ways, this pandemic has made musicians from all over the world more likely to connect. I have traditionally made music on my own, then sharing the demos with artists over the internet to collaborate with. These past years I’ve made an effort to connect more in person in the studio. After starting it in LA with Chrome Sparks, it’s one I went back to and worked on a lot during isolation... it’s about ambiguity between two friends with benefits... one fell in love and the other one is playing with that ambiguity. Something that happens when you’re very young and innocent and don’t know better.
