Test Pattern aka Cesar Acosta has contributed to the Minneapolis techno community for many moons, mixing fluid sets and creating distinct graphic design for our local techno legends. A founding pioneer of the Mexikan Tekno Mafia (MTM) in the Twin Cities, Cesar is a multimedia artist that has developed his crafts through the years, working with labels and creating compelling advertising for techno icons and events such as the legendary Movement Festival in Detroit.  His musical style is deep, complex and brings that bang-bang!

Welcome to DRR Podcast 096, this week we are pleased to welcome Hemissi from the South of France.

Hemissi (Anouar Hemissi), born in the south of France. Attracted by hip-hop, funk, techno and house, among other styles.

He has always devoted most of his time to his passion for music. Inspired and influenced by Jeff Mills, Ben Sims, Luke Slater and many more. 

It was in 2020 that his project began with labels like Anemone Recordings, where he took his first steps and since then released his music on respected labels like Symbolism (Ben Sims), Soma (Slam), Mord (Bas Mooy), Blank Code, Olympian (Developer), and Edit Select Records. 

In 2021, he released his first album - Primitive Atom on Jeff Mills’ legendary label, Axis Records.
