29.01.2022 - heavy squalls are sweeping through the trees of the backyard garden and inbetween the buildings. a lonely car is riding around in the streets warning of a heavy stormtide at 1:30 - the metallic loudhailer voice is  regularly blown away by a next heavy gust. closing the door again.

Recorded with last light. I’ve only heard this kind of ecotone territorial vocal display once. It took my breath away. The clarity, and conviction of both voices…

Frogs in the first weeks of activity of the year. It was the warmest night so far, unusually high and although I went to the lake's edge, they were so loud that they could be heard from a long distance. This is also a place to see and hear herons and sometime storks, but this night it was all for the frogs.
I was testing out a Zoom F3 for the second time.

'April' is my new single. I recorded it using Teenage Engineering OP-1 synth, piano, Tascam Porta 02 MKII 4-track tape recorder, Olympus Pearlcorder L400 microcassette recorder and digital effects. Enjoy!
