Tender Collection are excited to release the debut single from Soft Touch, the latest side project from Grace Stevenson. Grace is known for her music as Rebel Yell, and previously in 100%. In Soft Touch, Grace takes a lo-fi, dark pop approach and will be releasing a cassette in January.

The first single Fright is out now. Keeping it’s distance from the industrial techno sounds of Rebel Yell, Fright has a mesmerising pulse and a luscious but caustic lead throughout. Lyrically the song speaks of bodily autonomy, with a cool, wry delivery. Reminiscent of artists like Pillow Pro and Princi, Soft Touch has been described as gothic RnB, perhaps even a slow groove to grind to.
