Composer-in-Residence of the Laredo Philharmonic Orchestra, Colin Campbell's Trilogy was the first work commissioned by Artistic Director, Maestro Brendan Townsend. The instruction was to compose a work called 'Trilogy' in a Baroque style, or with a Baroque flavor. The LPO premiered Trilogy on October 5, 2014 to great critical acclaim with the composer at the organ console.

Originally composed for the Yamaha Piano Competition, South Africa, in 2012. Galaxy Suite gives an imaginative illustration of the galaxy with its unexpected surprises and happenings exploring various themes of surprises and moods. I have been admiring the piano music and playing of South African pianist and songwriter, Christa Steyn, for many years. This piece was composed to commemorate her original style of playing using original and fun progressions and themes. A legend gone but not forgotten.

Love Story

(Recorded 30 and 31 March 2020)Dedicated to my mentor and 'mother', Crystal Watson, who sadly passed away on 29 March 2020. The first theme is from 'When a Child is Born' which was the first piece I had to play when meeting Crystal for the first time in 1997 when she started as the new director at MTR Smit Children's Haven. The second theme is from 'You Raise Me Up' because she was a woman of distinction always caring and loving people in need. She raised me up to become the person I am today and I would like to dedicate this piece to honor her life. RIP Crystal 'Mamsie" Watson
