"Alle apen vrij !!!" ("every apes free" is english) is the third album of Petula Clarck,
created in a very short time and always with their spontaneous and unique rule:
one hour and half to create one song or more, never retouch it and record it like the first shot.
These songs are as instinctive as the ones on their previous albums but this time,
we can feel that they master the process like never before. They've pushed their limits further,
using loop and bass for the very first time.
The duo give us here the proof that their instinct vision of music never has been repressed.
Instinct never lies... and never will!

BIOGRAPHY:

In Mons, since 2006, a monkey duo is trying by every possible and imaginable way to lay out spontaneous songs stripped of all pretense. Puked pieces, thrown in the face of the world as a bone in the lions' den, raw as universal truth.
"Spontrash" they call it! A flint carved concept with their big primate paws: an hour and a half to wipe a song, much like we light a straw fire. It goes WOOF or it ends in the trash. No retouching, no fiddling, no makeup, no loss of time. Make or break it. The results are songs, trowel-served like a series of slaps in your face.
Instinct never lies. Ever!
It's fast, aggressive. It'll make you freak out and dance at the same time. Furious funk, disco punkoïde speed. It's really impossible to define. It is especially super noisy and it plays very very hard and too fast. Like a race between a cheetah and a high-speed train.
In the middle of the crowd, in the sweat of beastly proximity with their audience, Vinch, the gorilla slugger and Mat, the grimacing chimp will blow your face off. You will fall nose to nose with instinct, the purest, the hardest. You will see the root of all things, the eye in the sky and maybe even the face of death and the origin of life. You'll really enjoy it actually!
In 2015, after more than 400 dates across Europe and the USA, a few splits, EPs and two albums, the third LP rears its anthropoid facies: "Alle Apen Vrij !!!" With the help of all accustomed label friends: Rockerill Records, En veux-tu? En V'là!, Dewane Records, Attila Tralala, Et mon cul c'est du Tofu?, Windmill Prod, Kinky Star.
