Livity Sound welcomes Joe Milli to the fold with an assured EP of crisp club workouts that land between techno's evocative depth and UK funky's offbeat, drum-focused functionality. 

Over the past few years Milli has been establishing his sound across a swathe of radio shows, guest mixes and releases, and he lands on Livity with a timeless take on the label's commitment to stripped back, atmospheric soundsystem music. 

There's variety across the Deep Forest EP, ranging from the balmy bassweight house of the title track to the deep-diving dub pulses and bruk drum science of 'Look Again'. 'Keep That Wire' draws nervous energy from its synth hooks and the taut, angular beat before the rolling Detroit techno pulse of 'Expressions' brings the EP home in punchy, percussion-loaded style. 

In line with past releases from the likes of Bakongo, DJ Polo and Tribal Brothers, Milli's strength lies in his ability to bend the UK funky formula to different styles, all precision-tooled for the club.

Ben Diggins, the Rotterdam-based producer and Clinical Records founder, drops his second EP, landing on Infinite Pleasure. With a background in a deeply musical family, Ben is fast becoming a name to watch, earning recognition for his deep sound and clever harmonies. This release pushes his music further into hypnotic territory, pairing rolling grooves with sharp, atmospheric detail. On remix duties, Copenhagen’s B From E, fresh off his standout contribution to the Abundance Vol. 3 compilation, injects his signature drive and late-night energy, twisting the original into a floor-burning rework.

DJ and producer Coffintexts delivers a fresh mix for Off-Kilter, trailing the haze of summer months with blissed out sonics. 

This mix introduces a new sound world crafted by the Miami DJ - a downtempo, deep and hallucinogenic take for the series. A portal into her murky underworld, blending elements of trip hop, dub techno and tripped out house.

Part Miami Bass, vintage house bounce, and tribal euphoria, Coffintexts' music is a cocktail of indulgence served straight from the queer underground.
When Coffintexts first burst onto the club scene in the late '10s, she was part of a new cohort of Miami producers reshaping dance music. Equally influenced by everything from 90s tribal rhythms to Latin American-inflected Club to UK rave, she emerged as part of the city's new guard. Putting out records on labels including Omnidisc, Club Romantico, Club QU, Classico, and a forthcoming record on TraTraTrax, she has quickly established herself as one of the Magic City's most vibrant musicians.

Even within this crowded field, Coffintexts acts as a unique center of gravity. While drawing from the percussive promiscuity of her Peruvian heritage and the bass weight of her hometown, she also gravitated towards the cerebral funk of '90s hardgroove, wiggly house, and the chromatic polish of UK techno. Cutting her teeth in house parties and gay clubs across Miami, she's always gravitated towards the minimal, groove-focused energy of dance music at its most muscular and hypnotic. This background has put her into conversation not just with the 305, but with the larger global queer dance music
cosmology.

There aren't many producers and DJs who marry the paranoid and the psychedelic, the euphoric and the illicit, the darkroom and the big room, the mind and the body, like Coffintexts.

As a producer, she's just as comfortable turning out lean and stripped back techno as she is sultry, bottom-heavy downtempo with occasional partner-in-crime Jonny from Space. Her DJing is just as adventurous. Her mixes for outlets like Crack and Mixmag showcase an ambitious and daring style where she jumps between tempos, eras, and genres without ever losing sight of that central current of hip-swinging groove. It's this intuitive and bodily approach to mixing that has kept dance floors from Miami to Shanghai to Bristol, from Nowadays to III Points Festival to Razzmatazz gyrating and sweating it out until
the early hours.

Storm has always been one of the most influential DJs within Drum & Bass, known for tight mixing skills and an exclusive selection. Affectionately dubbed the ‘First Lady of Drum & Bass,’ she represents Metalheadz at their residencies, label nights and tours as well as countless solo gigs. Having been involved from the very start of the label alongside her great friend and DJ partner Kemistry, Storm’s contribution has been critical in helping build the reputation Metalheadz has today. She has toured the world over and continues to enthral crowds with her powerful and professional style, and is also revered and embraced outside of the D&B community, performing at such events as Houghton Festival, Dekmantel, and Ben UFO’s XOYO residency.

South Africa's DJ Lag is to gqom what Frankie Knuckles is to house. An early pioneer of the raw, minimal and bass-heavy electronic style since the 2010s, he has gone on to popularise it around the world with a wealth of solo EPs and high-profile collabs. Last year, he dropped his second album, The Rebellion, which ushered in a new era that embraced Afro tech, amapiano, drill and hip-hop, all having previously worked with the likes of Beyoncé and Tyla.

He played Dekmantel Festival back in 2022 and now makes an overdue entry into our mix series with a widescreen showcase of his musical world, including some unreleased tracks from himself. It's Afro-centric but roams from silky smooth and deep jams to crisp metallic steppers via warped dub, always with an empowering energy that makes you puff your chest and put your best foot forward.

Yetsuby is a Seoul-based electronic music producer and DJ, also one half of the left-field ambient duo Salamanda, and a core member of the Seoul-based DIY label and collective, Computer Music Club. Her work explores electronic sound through intuitive and playful approaches, spanning from melody-driven club tracks to experimental compositions
