He awoke one morning with emptiness in his stomach but with full-love in his heart. He grabbed his blue-green guitar and played in his most private place (The bathroom). From a half asleep dream state, The melody and words flowed through him effortlessly because he knew he was deeply and madly in love.  Time came to, The boy ,picking up his pieces, sang with reminiscence and gratitude.  Her sublime... now just a memory, a song,  etched into the man's soul.

Your Sublime

The darkness thrives deep and gets the best of you and the people you love.. Emotions are no joke. You feel these things for reasons even if the demons are unnamed at your dire times. In light of this, I'd like to share a journey through my own darkness.

Your reflection stares back at you. Your eyes and heart are gray and weary. You're drowning in your own depths. You're tired, frustrated, discontent, and stale...  all you seek is to break free from your own mess. "Expression!" ,you think to yourself.. "this may be the key.." Months later, your frowns have turned into smiles; your disappointment has turned into gratitude. At this point you're sick of being down. Time moves too fast. You're losing moments stuck in an abyss stemmed from your own guilt, beliefs, perspectives and low esteem. You realize you're not alone. You realize you're your only kind.  You realize all you had to do was to be true to yourself, to love and live genuinely, and to never forget to count your blessings.

MANILA SUMMER

This mind is swaying along to the summer air
it constantly get's lost but I know that it's always there
to remind myself of all of the adventures we've had
from the unsteady platforms we walked through due to
spontaneous plans; but I was happy and I was content
but I'm not sure if I'll ever feel that way again

Flashback to when the candle light was the only thing that lit the room
along with the summer heat brought by the afternoon
and how hours would pass as we sat on the floor long enough
til our problems didn't matter anymore
I won't say I am overwhelmed and 
at that moment I know exactly how it felt
when Mark said "well I guess this is growing up"
and how I wasted my youth when I was young

and we all say...

Where did my time go x3

Pull out the weeds sticking out of the ground
burn them like incense to smoke intruders out
or jam our favorite songs cause they had the same effect
so we yelled tigers jaw when we we're upset

We loved what we did and did what we loved
pouring out empathy as good vibes filled our lungs
it fueled our body, fueled our minds; 
a process that slowly killed us but kept us alive

So standing tall at twenty years old
