A Slice of Strawberry Shortcake is an amalgamation of flavors, boasting femme and gender nonconforming heavyweights spattered across the US and one artist from Iran. Each track delivers distinct punches: from nextdimensional’s bass-heavy ethereal dreamscape to ROW92’s melodic drum and bass hellscape. JIALING takes us for a ride on a megabus careening down I95 and Zvrra’s Japanese video-game-inspired track Leap, draws on FM synthesis and an enemy boss encounter. As the first compilation album released by Banana Pudding Records, A Slice of Strawberry Shortcake presses that queer and femme artists are fundamental to the bourgeoning electronic scene.

DJ Delish is a music producer, mixer and DJ. Over the last 10 years she's worked with several different musicians to help them make their ideas come to life in a free and open-minded setting by composing and co-producing songs with people like Tylar J, Kevin JZ, Capitol Kaos, Ase Manual, Carry Nation and more. This has led to several singles and 'Vogue' albums being released in the clubs across and outside of the country.
