En esta tercera edición de Aux Distortion la selección musical gira en torno a la discográfica Posh Isolation, un sello discográfico fundado en 2009 por Christian Stadsgaard y Loke Rahbek con base en Copenhague centrado en artistas escandinavos. Musicalmente comenzó con una línea más dura de noise, dron, synth, punk y techno de corte industrial, sin embargo, con el paso del tiempo ha evolucionado hacia el ambient, post club, experimental y música clásica contemporánea.

En esta cuarta edición de Aux Distortion la selección musical gira en torno a la discográfica Raster-Noton, un sello discográfico fundado en 1999 con la fusión de Rastermusic y noton.archiv, las cuales llevaban colaborando desde el 96. Raster music fue fundada en el 96 por Olaf Bender, aka Byetone, y Frank Bretshneider, centrándose en el minimal. Noton.archiv fue fundada en el 96 por Carsten Nicolai, aka Alva Noto como una plataforma de música experimental y artístico. La fusión de ambos sellos da lugar a un proyecto de música experimental, glitch, ambient y drone, vanguardista, en el que se mezclan discos de música clásica contemporánea o power electronics a cada cual más sorprendente.

The 117th FrenzyPodcast will be provided by Jacobworld. Hailing all the way from Perth, Australia, Jacob has been surprising us with his sound in the recent period. In his recent releases ‘Circadian Rhtyhm EP’ on OOM Records and ‘Rotation EP’ on Format Records, Jacob shows has shown his talent and feeling for creating a unique sound in his productions.

Jacob created a 1.5h mix about which he told the following: “I love music in all its forms and really enjoy the process of creating and experiencing sound, which drives my desire to create such experiences for others. With all my mixes I try and incorporate elements of sound design that has amazed me whether it be in headphones, clubs and anywhere in between. This sound particularly lay in 90’s techno and I think that will be evident in the mix. I like imperfections in mixing and admire the organics of the human touch, which is why turntables are my weapon of choice.”

Avide de dynamisme et de changement de rythme, sa musique voyage entre différentes teintes, napes et textures, successivement entremêlées afin de mentaliser son audience.

EN - DJ and illustrator from Strasbourg, Halès created the late collective Merᴄure to be today part of the residents of the Kalt club. 

His evolution leaves him today a wide musical panel oscillating between Techno, Break and Ambient.

Eager for dynamism and change of rhythm, his music travels between different shades, napes and textures, successively intermingled in order to mentalize his audience.

Para nuestro siguiente podcast os traemos a https://soundcloud.com/pechplusschwefel, dúo austriaco, colaboración de Leonhard y Franco; hicieron su debut como productores en 2021 publicando en el sello escocés Animal Farm su EP "Sloppy Tape".
  
En 2022 con el primer lanzamiento en vinilo "Focus Forward" en Twice Infinity, P+S inicia oficialmente su proyecto y, desde entonces, el dúo no ha dejado de perfeccionar sus sets de techno rápido y enérgico, que presentan regularmente a través de CDJ, platos o una configuración híbrida en directo.

In the month of May we received the Granada collective T-Label. The kings of the Copera with their Vortex parties are always characterized by bringing quality musical proposals to the city. Guests and residents always set up lineups of heart attack with techno of pure class.

In this first installment the head of the collective Le Coné sends us to another dimension through transcendental atmospheres. Impeccable selection ranging from ambient sounds to the most exquisite "mentaleo". A pleasure for your ears that you need to hear.

Alex Sparrow is a DJ who has come up through the ranks of the Cork scene in recent times and forged a particular sound that is very hypnotic and rhythm based. Taking inspirations from the likes of DVS1, Oscar Mulero and RRose, he creates moments of tension that allows the listener to be drawn into the mix. 
Being taught by the likes of Doug Cooney and Sunil Sharpe in B.I.F.E, Alex has gained a wealth of knowledge from some of Irelands finest and put this into his mix where he goes into the deeper side of techno. Having recently launched and become a Co-founder of the new Cork based collective Bare Bones, the future is looking bright as he tries to display his sound to the mass’.

BEFORE THE MEETING #008: IKARI & TUBER (QUARTZ FEST)

Yeee como estáis? Soy @r010_lucas también conocido como R-010, Lucas o Rojo (de ahí el aka artístico). Soy un productor y artista en formato Live y residente de @phase.ctv desde hace ya un año.
Voy dando tumbos entre los distintos géneros electrónicos y que abarca el Techno pero siempre con dos denomindores comunes: percusión agresiva y un sonido nostálgico traído por acordes o pads.
Adoro ver a la gente bailar con los ojos cerrados completamente abstraídos de la realidad y eso es lo que intento conseguir en cada uno de mis sets.
Súper ilusionado como siempre de empezar esta nueva temporada.

This week’s DETECT comes courtesy of Lucas Rojo, aka @r010artist.

Focusing solely on the Live format, the Madrid-based artist and producer dances between uplifting techno, dub and house both in his groove-laden productions and selections. 

A resident of the prestigious Phase Collective, R-010 is regular on their line-ups as well as their discography with his ‘Caleidoscope’ EP being released in March of last year. Whilst back in November, he released his most recent album ‘La ciudad de los muchachos’ on Cabrera, which featured his trademark funk-infused, energetic grooves aplenty.
