Demo to check whether TR 626 / 707 / 727 flam is tempo-dependant. I'd say it is not.

727 Flam Demo

Demo of the MS10 Pulse Wave - as requested on VSE for comparison with the Minibrute

Recorded directly into Ableton with Motu Ultralite, no processing or fx

My MS10 is a little bit noisy as you might notice... 

Tuned it down one octave, all notes except in the end are C

- All octaves, PW at 0, no EG (time parameters on 0, sustain 10), VCF open
- All octaves, PW at 5, no EG, VCF open
- All octaves, PW at 7.8 (just before it cancels the phase), no EG, VFC open
- All octaves, PW sweep, no EG, VCF open
- Filter sweeps, PW at 0, Reso at 0, 5, 8 and 10, all octaves, no EG
- Filter sweeps, PW at 5, Reso at 0, 5, 8 and 10, all octaves, no EG
- Filter sweeps, PW at 7.8, Reso at 0, 5, 8 and 10, all octaves, no EG
- LFO to trigger, messing around with keys, VCF (freq and EG intensity), PW, decay, resonance

Demonstration of V/Oct CV into Spacing CV of the Cwejman MMF1 (in dual BP mode)

MC202 and Acidlab Bassline 2 are used for sequencing

A142-4 is used to gate the uVCA

A175 is used for voltage inversion

Acidlab CV goes to A175, inverted CV to MMF1 Spacing; Acidlab gate to A142-4

MC202 CV goes to MMF1 freq CV

Simple delay in ableton has been used to be able to better hear occasional dissonances

Trying to recreate something like the 303 accent with René, A142-4, Dixie and MMF1.

Audio signal path is Dixie square to MMF1 (12db), then into uVCA

René is sequencing, pitch CV to the Dixie, unquantized CV to the MMF1 (just a little bit of keyboard tracking). All X-gates are activated on René, Y-gates produce the accent. X- and Y-clocks stem from SCM.

Additionally, I've added a noise (MS20) through A124, uVCA, SPH2 and A199, modulated by A142-4, so you can hear the "clock".

For the accent system:

X-gate goes to first decay of A-142-4, it's the "volume envelope" in "Whittle-speak" (decay ca. at 7)

Y-gate goes to third decay, this is my "accent envelope" (decay ca. 3)

First decay goes to a unity mixer, where it is mixed with the "accent envelope" (third decay), then it goes to the uVCA. To hear the effect on the VCA better, turn down the "volume envelope" with an attenuator or use a proper mixer - I've isolated all single envelopes to do this.

The second decay (also triggered by X-clock thanks to the normalization on the A-142-4) goes to another unity mixer (decay ca. at 4), where again it is then mixed with the "accent envelope" and then sent to the MMF1. Again, to hear the effect better on the filter, turn down the second decay with an att or again - proper mixer...

René is sequencing via Quantimator; Maths provides the envelope, filter is MMF1 to the 4ms VCA Matrix. PWM from PEG. RG6 provides a little bit of random to the MMF1 and a random gate to activate slide on René. 

Some pops and clicks here and there from switching the buttons abruptly, but I think you should get the general idea.

Addac701 x 2 Demo

Another demo of the Addac 701, this time showing FM. I made up a nice freaked out theremin patch using the planar :)

- You're hearing the sine of the 1st 701. Cheating a little bit - added some A199 spring verb to it (patched up as send / return via 4ms VCA matrix).
- The sine of the 2nd 701 FMs the 1st 701.
- A little bit of vibrato / tremolo by PEG to the 1st 701 and the VCAm.
- Planar x-cv goes to Quantimator, Quantimator output to Maths for some slew and attenuation, then to the 1st 701.
- Planar y-cv to the 2nd 701.

Addac701 FM Demo - Theremin From Outer Space

Trying out a drum machine as a cv sequencer - thanks to this nice thread on Muffs: http://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=82433&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

The idea is to use a drummachine, an envelope follower and a quantizer to sequence melodies.

Drums are 707. The whole output goes to the MS20 ESP for signal following (don't have a module yet), then to the Quantimator. VCO is VCO6. I programmed a trigger sequence on the 808 to trigger the Quantimator and the Envelator. Filter is MMF1, VCA is 4ms VCAm. Some RG6 random, SPH2 phasing and a bit of A199 spring verb in there as well...

It's a bit fiddly and small changes in volume (especially on the main out of the 707, i.e. the cv "attenuator") can make big differences, but with a bit of dialing in you can get something funny going...
