I pass'd a church b'ing fix'd
It was half way there
And now a storm comes

And I know it has been b'ing fix'd for some time - 
At least a year
Or more, I guess.
Each day it gets more built.
They're now on the doors
And most of the roof.

I have no stake in this church.
I am not one of the men who built it.
It's just a shame that it will break.

That's all.

I'm just sad 'bout it.

Live recording of a work composed for a group of improvising musicians led by Deep Listening composer Pauline Oliveros in 2007. The ensemble, made up of SOTA's diverse faculty, is conducted by the vocalist, who keeps time, by his uttered struggles to pronounce the phonemes of the title phrase.
