This one has a story. Named Corona Boo because a guy I was into invited me to see him DJ for Halloween, and then he decided not to show up. During this time, I opened my laptop and wrote the melody for this song. We dated during Corona....hence the double entendre, Corona Boo. I later decided to finish this song for this Halloween, cuz what else are you going to do after you've broken up whilst in quarantine, but write some music?
So here we are.

This track was originally commissioned to accompany “The Adventures of Israel St. James” by Nathaniel Hicklin (@nghicklin), the serialized audiobook of which is coming in 2021 from @sicsemperserpent
The book, available now on https://www.sicsemperserpent.com/israelstjames, chronicles the wild tales of a virtually immortal archaeologist who hunts down powerful artifacts from different eras. I wanted this track to convey both the dusty nostalgia and otherworldly magic represented in the novel. Thanks @strandartandlit and #tmartincrouse for the connection and trusting me with the task.

Classically trained violinist/violin instructor gone rogue. I make classically inspired bass music infused with sound design, glitch, and unexpected ear candy. When I'm not running the streets of the overpriced Bay Area setting it ablaze with my spunk and sass, I enjoy singing made up songs at the top of my lungs because I think I'm the star of my own opera, adding multidimensional cosmic colors to my hair as a form of procrastination and expression, and cooking up my Cordon Bleu world famous boiled water.
