This is like a Gearshift version of Storyswap

HUMANS and MONSTERS were at war for a very, VERY long time.
Despite their odds,  the MONSTERS won and drove the HUMANS underground.
Embittered, the HUMANS dug deep into the Earth for a solution.
What they found was sublime: otherworldly beings called SPIRITS.
Very soon they would be subsumed by those spectres, affecting the Earth from the inside out.

A spirit makes a wish upon a shooting star.

"....i want to see my cousin again..."
With their wish, Fate played its loving yet cruel hand.
A HUMAN arose from the shrine, set on accomplishing the spirit's wishes.
