Bonjour tout le monde ! Des mois que vous nous la demandez, de semaines qu’on la peaufine, voici la nouvelle DECADE MIXTAPE ! Carte postale d’une époque et véritable madeleine de Proust, cette fois-ci direction les années 80s pour plus d’une heure de musiques et d’actualités qui ont rythmé la décennie ; de la chute du mur de Berlin à l’arrivée du Minitel en passant par la sortie d’E.T.
Ce concept n’aurait certainement jamais vu le jour sans le travail du duo australien Flight Facilities qui nous ont inspirés en réalisant plusieurs mixtapes en anglais sur le même thème. Nous voulions, à notre tour, proposer ce format avec un regard plus personnel sur cette époque et une dimension francophone qui nous tient à coeur.

I produced this track in 1996 for Randy Crawford and had Vince at the studio in Germany to do his vibes magic. To record the string section (Frank Sinatra´s people) which Vince had arranged I flew to Philadelphia & recorded at Gamble & Huff´s place.....memories.....
