At a times so much of creative effort is channeled into just one track, that it becomes
technically impossible to include everything that sounds "right" into just one piece or a version. Sometimes, it even becomes unclear what is the "main" version and what is a "remix". 
For their first proper single, WORLD GOVERNMENT chose to prepare a full pack of versions of one song. All done by the band, these variations outline the duo’s spheres of interest and sonic palette. It is almost like the same song is coming from different parallel universes.

Brendan Angelides, aka Welder, is a California based artist more widely known in the music community as Eskmo. With releases under the latter guise on the labels of Ninja Tune, Warp and Planet Mu, he has gained notable transatlantic recognition from the likes of BBC Music ("mind-melting invention..."), URB ("Simply destroys the soundsystem..") and FACT ("Fascinating example of the intersection of organic and electronic.") amongst many others.
Ancestor Media is the label he created as an outlet for his own personal creative endeavors as Eskmo and Welder. Past Ancestor releases include his collaboration with Amon Tobin entitled simply "Eskamon", and the well-received Eskmo EP "Hypercolor."

After working for two years on this record, here's finally the single of my record Untangle The Roots that will be available next month on the Spanish record label Sin Hilo Records. 

It will have beautiful remixes by Daisuke Tanabe, Ochre, Skygaze and Weird Inside on the flip side of the vinyl. Meaning so much to me since these fellows are some of my favorite musicians and artists I know.
