Emerging mysteriously over the horizon, a new satellite surfaces with Freedo Mosho's sultry Edit of Paul (AR) & Anunnakis' collaborative single, Ancient Moon. Originally released on Selador as a part of The Selador Showcase - The Seventeenth Instalment, the hypnotic dancefloor roller sheds over to a dusky shade under the sonic guidance of the Argentine maestro.

Riding slick, Freedo Mosho's take on Ancient Moon builds patiently in the shadows as it rolls over the back of a delectable percussive line and an irresistible stabbed bassline. Moving with aplomb, FM takes us deep inside a heady and hazy picture where the midnight fog rises, providing a dense and lush backdrop before revealing a time-stopping breakdown where the ancient secrets blossom in a tantalizing manner as they come together for a rousing second act, drifting into the new night with each passing beat.

'The latest release from Tash’s Movement Limited finds Stereo Munk and Leandro Murua collaborating on a two-track EP. Based in Pakistan, Stereo Munk would establish himself within the country's electronic music scene through early releases via Massive Harmony Records and Zephyr Music. Often finding a creative balance between progressive and organic house, the Islamabad resident has since taken his superlative sound to well established imprints such as Hoomidaas, Juicebox Music, Mango Alley, Plattenbank and more, while earning support from genre trendsetters Guy Mantzur and Hernan Cattaneo. Also finding a home on Movement Recordings, Stereo Munk would make his label debut in 2022 with a contribution to the imprint's popular 'Technical Progress' series, a release which would lead to three additional projects for the label’s various outlets, the most recent of which was a remix for the Savrun Brothers. Meanwhile, Argentinean artist Leandro Murua has enjoyed similar success across his four year production career. Releases for Juicebox Music, Mango Alley, The Soundgarden and UV sit prominently on this discography, while progressive music tastemakers Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Mariano Mellino and Nick Warren have been steadfast with support along the way. Now, combining their extensive forces for Movement Limited, Stereo Munk and Leandro Murua land on the label with ‘The Swamp’.

Beginning with the groovy qualities of ‘The Swamp’, the duo's creative synergy is on full display, as flashing percussion and percolating synths layer chunky basslines for a first act that is both creative and club-effective. Orbiting effects and extraterrestrial synth mutations carve out an intriguing path into the main break, one where fog-like swells and sizzling electronics build tension towards a finale that is equal parts trippy and melodic.

The duo’s distinct aesthetic continues on the second and final selection ‘Cavern’. Going for more of a groove-centric approach, its near nine-minute running time quickly sets you adrift in a progressive wasteland of retro-sonics and granular textures. Both intimate and wide-ranging, it's an arp-infused break which engulfs your attention whole, creating a ceremonial backdrop for misty glitches and gaseous sweeps to paint a scenic storyboard onwards to a rejuvenating finale.'

Eleven years have passed since Hernan Cattaneo, in collaboration with Guy Mantzur, released the Delayed Green exclusively on PlattenBank Records. The wait has been worthwhile. Hernan Cattaneo, a revered figure in underground dance music, is known for his sold-out shows, impeccable music selection, and humble, almost spiritual demeanor. Unconcerned with fame, Cattaneo is dedicated solely to sound.
This commitment is evident in his latest release, featuring the title piece Tranquilo, along with remixes by remix competition winners Adrien (AR) and Franco Giannoni. True to its name, the title track exudes a carefree and peaceful vibe, perfect for summer atmospheres. Characterized by a breakbeat rhythm and emotional bliss throughout the arrangement, it culminates in the third act. In contrast, the remixes adopt a classic four-on-the-floor rhythm, each adding unique elements while preserving the essence of the original. This release is not just a celebrated return of Hernan Cattaneo to PlattenBank. It also promotes talented remixers and showcases advanced studio skills. It’s a statement. Get it!

PREMIERE: Luke Santos - I Am The Messenger Ft. ZOHAR (Noraj Cue & Unders Remix)

Clubsonica opens the month of November by welcoming ELECGROUND to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Russia and made up of Sergey Silvertone, Eugene Amadeus and Andrey Uchvat, ELECGROUND first emerged in 2022 with an EP via Beatfreak's Limited division. Releases via Digital Emotions, Future Avenue, La Foresta, and Magnitude, amongst others would follow across the next two calendar years, making the trio a rising force in Russia's electronic underground. Now, following a summer EP for AH Digital, ELECGROUND continues on an upwards trajectory, adding Clubsonica to their resume with ‘Intergalactic Monster | Humanity', alongside remixes from Juan Deminicis and Pablo Arbelaez.

Beginning with the fluid sounds of ‘Humanity', ELECGROUND aims squarely for the dancefloor with great success. A smooth DJ friendly intro sets the pace for swing heavy basslines, delicate arps and precise percussive arrangements to create an energetic first act. A series of emotive chord changes and youthful vocal elements carve out a rejuvenating path into the break, bringing with them a sense of hopeful anticipation. Spoken word vocals build intrigue across the interlude, all while maintaining a strong melodic quality, before a smooth build pushes onwards to a finale that is equal parts nostalgic and emotive. The equally impressive 'Intergalactic Monster' serves as the companion piece and complements its predecessor very well. Geared more towards groovier dancefloor moments, ELECGROUND's tried and tested production chops serve them well here, bursting with colourful qualities and a keen sense of rhythm and groove. A haunting lead theme conjures up bucolic imagery leading into the break, bringing with it a serene state of mind, as granular effects eventually reveal a vortex of noise, before getting washed away in a powerful finale complete with delicate chord stabs and growling synth mutations.

Returning to the label with the lone interpretation of ‘Humanity' is Pablo Arbelaez. With a sound that incorporates elements from deep, tech and progressive house, the Armenia resident first emerged in 2019 on the strength of early tracks ‘The Crowd' and ‘Galaxia'. The next five calendar years would see Pablo choose his projects wisely, adding BCSA, Sun Theory, and Transensations to his discography. Now, making a welcome return to the label for his first remix, Pablo delivers an enchanting take on ‘Humanity'. Landing with a resounding thump, Pablo finds success with a robust, dancefloor minded approach. Warm kick drums and shapely grooves marry beautifully with flickering percussion and mysterious vocal elements. Tasteful piano stabs create an enduring main theme leading into the break, ultimately highlighting the journey, flowing through emotive musical progression for equal amounts of exhilaration and serenity.

The release concludes with Juan Deminicis with the lone interpretation of ‘Intergalactic Monster'. Long a favourite of progressive music's top tastemakers, the Argentinean artist has released on the genre's finest imprints, with Cid Inc's Replug Records, Guy J's Lost & Found and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music all being regular homes for the talented Argentine. Also, no stranger to Clubsonica, the Buenos Aires resident has released four original productions and two remixes since making his label debut in 2017. Now, as 2024 reaches its final quarter, Juan returns to Clubsonica with a groovy rendition of 'Intergalactic Monster'. Bringing a contemporary club-effective state of mind, Juan reassembles the themes from the original for his own unique and dubbed out approach. Timely effects and shapeshifting overlays co-ax perfectly atop precise kick drums and chugging grooves, for what results in a tasteful and groove-centric rendition to round out the release in style.

Eros, is the 7th EP of Various Artist from Droid9 South America, it includes 3 original mixes of pure Progressive House made by great artists. Among them are Argentine producers such as Konte, Andres Moris, Colou Befu and Ignacio Berardi.

Voice of experience, is the first track on this EP, made by Konte. In this track you can appreciate an ambient and dark sound, along with a very well achieved base, accompanied by a deep house sound to some extent. This creation keeps us in tune all the time, it is an ideal track for any time of the night, either at the end of a warm up or to generate a calmer atmosphere in an extensive set.

Into the light, is the second track, made by Andres Moris. This track obtained the support of Guy J (Echos 11/13/2020), in it we can notice in this creation a fine mixture in the Progressive House style, you can see solid drums accompanied by a powerful bassline, which when combined With the melody it begins to take us on a one-way trip to another dimension. Everything that seemed heavenly turns dark, minimal-style sounds begin to enter our ears which keeps the crowd to keep moving. It is an ideal track for any type of environment , in which listeners will go through different states of mind when being heard.

Sayonara, third track compiled by Colou Befu and Ignacio Berardi. You can see in this creation, a mix between an aggressive yet hypnotic and enveloping sound that progressively mutates and takes us on a journey from beginning to end. The combination of drums, melody and bass makes it sustain a good groove for the dance floor, which holds us to the floor and keeps us in constant motion. Undoubtedly this track can be used to exploit the night on any given dancefloor
