In many scriptures, bhakti-yoga is mentioned, and in Kali-yuga it is specifically mentioned that the chanting of the maha-mantra Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare is the most appropriate and powerful means for connecting with God in devotion. In this song, the holy names of Sita and Rama are chanted. Just as in the Hare Krsna maha-mantra, Sita and Rama are also names of God (Rama) and His feminine energy (Sita). The names of God can be chanted in Kali-yuga or in any age, for the purification of the heart.
