Inspired by a lysergic fuelled poem by Allen Ginsberg, Hypnocoustics takes us on a journey off the beaten track riding on gigantic waves, that lift mist above exquisitely swaying ferns, where every flower is Buddha-eyed and orchards send out thoughts and manifest language. This two track Ep feels like classic Hypnocoustics, strong and deep grooves roll underneath warm textures and ascending melodies that spin into space as geometric objects splinter and float past your eyes.

Since the dawn of our existence, humans have been compelled to tell stories of mythical beasts - majestic, fearsome creatures that roam not only the depths of our imagination but also the sacred landscapes of our shared psyche. And as part of these ancient ceremonies, bathed in the flicker of firelight and the hypnotic vibration of tribal drums, they have long helped us celebrate the kaleidoscopic enigma of existence.

Ben Fraser's fifth Sabretooth studio album is a testament to this ancestral drive - a celebration of the psychedelic pulse of our ancestors. Propelled by his trademark sense of forward momentum and ever-laced in acid, it forms a powerful sonic journey through a broad spectrum of psychedelic trance styles - from sun to moon and back again.

Building up from 142 BPM all the way to an eye-watering 150 BPM, Ben displays his versatility as the album progresses from daytime Psy Prog, through to driving 303-fuelled UK Psychedelic before concluding which nighttime-tinged blasters - the whole underpinned by a distinctive Goa-inspired melodic touch. Comprising four of his best tracks from his busy 2024 release schedule, and six brand new dancefloor beasts - all polished off by the finest analogue mastering by Micky Noise - this is without a doubt a culmination of Ben’s 20+ years of production.
