The way the original morphs bit by bit into a blatting, grinding simulacrum is ecstatic. It feels like hearing the original as my neurons die. Like, this is what it would sound like if I were dying in aisle 9 while the grocery intercom played Beatles

The steadily growing fluorescent light buzz that takes over the soundscape up to this point really cements that 'dying in the grocery' narrative and I am in love with that story

do 'Helter Skelter', "Let It Be" is their worst record all around flabby.
