Albuquerque joins Sprout with a serious brace of tracks.

DJ, producer, Warung resident since 2013, Radiola Records co-founder, and Sonido Profundo creator, Ricardo Albuquerque has stamped his place in the Brazilian dance music history books already, and he’s nowhere close to done yet! Signed to an impressive list of international labels including The Soundgarden, Get Physical and more, his sonic indentity shines through in everything he touches.

Beginning with tough drums, a rubbery bass, and vocal call to arms kick the dancefloor into high gear. Tensions rise as layers of percussive fury are unleashed. Breaking briefly to open up the full vocal and synths, ‘Permission’ is a no-holds-barred bruiser for the later floor to really let go.

‘Sun Call’ starts in similar fashion. Uptempo drums and a bouncy bassline cement the low end as snappy hats and musical arps drive the tune. A cheeky piano line draws on those golden era sunrise classics. Energetic and vibey, this is a perfect secret weapon to close out the night.
