Snatch! Records is the first label project from renowned DJ Riva Starr with an aim to push new talents and well-established forward thinking producers through a carefully curated collection of slamming house cuts and exciting talent.

So, with that, we continue our new series here, and in conjunction with Deep House Amsterdam, highlighting some of our favourite labels from around the world, we thought we would catch up with Snatch! Records boss, Riva Starr to get the scoop on all things Snatch! Records.

Mousikē 06 | "Aevum" by Baris

Releasing the 6xCD set from my marathon 11 hour set was one of the biggest projects that Bedrock has undertaken. We really had no idea how it would be received and were blown away by the reaction and fantastic reviews that followed its release. Even though it clocked in at just under 8 hours of music, this was still not the full set I played that night/day. After receiving so many requests to release the final part of the set, we started the task of licensing the rest of the tracks in the final section. However a couple of the tracks were released on major labels which meant the process of clearing all of the tracks took a lot longer than it normally takes. At times we thought shall we continue but I am happy to say that we persevered and can now bring you the final part of my set from Stereo in Montreal. Designed in the same wallets so that this part of the release will fit perfectly into the original box set to complete the journey and look great in your collection. As a label we have always strived to do things that feel right and I hope you agree with us and enjoy the Finale.

Audio Perm is releasing a new song everyday leading up to the Permed Out Showcase #2 on June 29th at The Cabooze. This is the second song in this series of songs. Refrigerator Raider is a song by duo Biter Fighters, which is emcee Unfuh Qwittable and producer Taylor Madrigal. These two dudes met thru mutual friends in Northeast Minneapolis, and soon started making music under the name Fresh Squeeze, along with 80H20 and Jake. A few songs were made, and the group dynamic deemed to be much too funky, and imploded from  that atomic stank. Taylor went on to create Audio Perm with Julian Fairbanks and Cory Grindberg, and Fresh Squeeze is down with us. Biter Fighters are currently working on an album, to be released in 2013. Anyways, heres some music, peace!
