ABOUT ME:



I've been into hip hop almost my whole life. In my early childhood grew up listening to pretty much whatever my family played whether it was R&B, Hip Hop, House, Pop, Soul etc. By my adolescence I began developing my own taste in music. Instead of me just listening to 50 cent, Eminem, Kanye West, Pac and Biggie; I wanted to branch out into other styles of Hip Hop. I came across Illmatic by Nas and Midnight Marauders by A Tribe Called Quest and these albums will forever be my favourite of all time. I loved every aspect of each album, the lyricism in Illmatic, the AMAZING production on Midnight Marauders. I then started to listen to more and more music from that generation. I also listen to many new age rappers as well however I don't like many of today's rappers as I find their songs completely uncreative. Also, when i was about 13 or 14 while i was researching hip hop to get more involved in the genre i came across Common - "Love Is" Produced by J Dilla, i had heard of J DIlla before but his production completely inspired by me, i had never heard production like his before. This is why I began to produce, I thought to myself "I want to help all these skilled and talented rappers have a voice" but I didn't have the confidence to rap so I got FL Studio and learned how to produce. This changed my life as I see music in a completely new perspective and I feel like I can actually do something with my life and make a name for myself. Then I started to rap and i'm here now!
