Hi, I’m Pharoah Godd, formely known as Pharoah Woo and the owner of Southern Hitz Empire. I have been the only recording studio owner in the Rockabilly territory since the late great Carl Perkins was doing recordings in Bethel Springs. I have published more than a few hit singles, including a hit album Sold My Soul To The Trap that started what is known as the Trap-Hop Music Movement. I have also helped artists get started with their own careers in the music business.
 
My latest album Black Pablo is one of the greatest master pieces to ever be recorded. In my newest album I expose the hate in McNairy County to Madison County all the way to Shelby County and bless more listeners with rap godd game. I pioneered the sound known as Trap-Hop in Tennessee and since 1996 I have been developing my sound in the music business and I have helped local producers and promoters get their start.

I have always been an advocate for independent musician hustle and my contributions have helped make it possible for you to record music professionally, develop your artist brand and help push independent music marketing with invested returns.

As the founder and CEO of Southern Hitz Empire, the midsouth’s leading studio, I have helped teach artists who have recorded with my studio and showed them the path for these artists to develop what I started in the independent trap-hop movement. At Southern Hitz Empire, I have not only graced the stage with some of the greatest artists in this area, I have also shown how much my influence I had on them.  

I’ve worked with artists, songwriters, performers, promoters, managers, labels, publishers, booking agents, audio engineers, A&R reps and others through my personal consulting business Southern Hitz Empire. I love the music business and think my contribution will be what other arists and labels are looking for in another professional artist and label boss who can keep up with the constant mindset of hustle and flow.
