Phase Group continue their exploration of the fringes of contemporary electronic music with a release that brings together two separate projects born from analogue hardware improvisations. 

‘A Given Moment’ presents the dub-laden, mind-bending and noise-driven music of Brussels-based artist and Vastechoses label head Lostsoundbytes, and the lo-fi, early morning lysergic experiments of Lowspace, an unearthed, forgotten collaborative project by French DJ and musician Low Bat and Dresden-based producer Heninspace.

This is music that takes you deeper into the vortex, made for dark and smoke-enveloped clubs and cosmic day-break afterparty moments. On the A-side, Lostsoundbytes continues his prolific output of masterfully crafted bass-heavy and dub-wise analogue machine jams, while the B-side presents two lost psychotropic experimental recordings by Lowspace made in 2016 upon a visit by Low Bat to Heninspace’s Dresden studio.

Marking eight years in existence and the and the close of its first chapter, UNDER MY FEET. presents its first compilation: Farewell Notes.

With contributions from artists close to UMF., Farewell Notes celebrates an approach to music that is rebellious in nature and defies expectations to construct its own narrative. It’s a space for artists who have inspired the growth of the noise and experimental scenes around the world to express themselves freely.

The v/a moves through a range of abstract textures and emotions – the hypnotic rhythms and distinctive sounds of Orphx, Volsent and Ciarra Black contrast the soothing, melancholic loops from Vanity Productions and Alessandro Adriani. Chloe lula, Kashaiof, DE:MA and Vera Spektor reach for spiritual and ritualistic narratives, Incendie and Silent Servant take an approach rooted in post-punk & metal, while the psychic & distorted noises of Roxy Farman, Tot Onyx, Hüma Utku complement an exclusive collaboration between Ireen Amnes & Drew McDowall.

We're excited to unveil our latest digital release on the Meta Moto platform. Poladroïd, originating from Belgium, the featured producer is renowned for blending electro and IDM with a fierce energy, notably showcased on labels like Science Cult and his own Roulette Rekordz. However, Poladoïd offers a departure from his usual style with this release, which feels like a spiritual successor to his previous work "Eurosiberie" on Detriti.

Drenched in dense, filtered atmospheres and infused with nostalgic echoes of a bygone era, 'Danse Macabre' exudes a dark and gritty ambiance, straddling the realms of retro-futurism and melancholic machine melodies. Drawing inspiration from a spectrum as wide as Holderlin's 'Hyperion' and the poetic works of Robert Brasillach and Charles Baudelaire, 'Danse Macabre' showcases Poladroid's versatility in crafting diverse sonic landscapes while maintaining a signature sound.

Poladroïd - Danse Macabre EP (Preview)

Data Desire Disorder is Roberto Auser's upcoming EP on the Dalmata Daniel label, part of their lathe-cut series.

This four-track EP showcases Auser's deep engagement with analog sound, blending noir, industrial, minimal synth, dark wave, and electro influences. Created largely during the lockdown era, it features vintage hardware and modular synths, crafting a sound that is both raw and meticulously detailed.

Data Desire Disorder continues Auser's exploration into dark, atmospheric soundscapes, offering a blend of cinematic tension and rhythmic pulse.

It will be available as a limited edition 8-inch record and digitally. The physical release will feature a risograph-printed cover, in line with Studio Jetski's aesthetic.
