Spanish artist, Claudia is taking control for the next hour! She is Involved in Ankali club and its little brother Planeta Za, her co-direction of the excellent Deviant series, both the club night and the podcast, made it become a first choice for those who want their expectations to be shattered.

A new Phase group Mix from Moscow made for us by Región Salvaje, a revived alias of Russian experimental sound enthusiast Dima Gerasimov aka Jan Fietser.  

Dima is the guy behind the excellent 'Muzak for Cycling' radio show on St Petersburg's Test FM. He has also released music on Towlie's Käften label under the Jan Fietser moniker. Following a recent move from St Pete to Moscow, Dima is focusing his energies these days on recording new music with his band Argonauts. 

This mix was recorded in March on the first day of Lockdowns in Russia, when Dima decided to spend his time digitising the tapes and vinyls from the most unpredictable purchases that he had made in the last few year. What results is an hour of charming and intriguing cassette-world oddities, DIY home recordings and lo-fi Groovebox experiments. Thanks Dima!

Phase Group Mix - Región Salvaje

Phase Group is a record label in Glasgow run by MR TC and Lo Kindre. Both artists have been active in the Glasgow scene for a good while now, releasing music individually on labels like Optimo and 12th isle as well as collaborating on releases for vienna's Neubau and most recently for the first release on Phase Group. To celebrate the launch of Narr they've put together an hour of sci-fi dub rhythms.

The next Phase Group Mix is provided by Gamba, head of the record label ANA. Since 2019 ANA have been releasing a steady stream of brooding and dark, bass-heavy, leftfield club and ambient music by artists like Beyaz, Gamba & Rezka, Kaval Yahuda, Bearer and Genghis Kohn. For this mix, label-head Gamba serves up an hour of heady dub-infused bass music and ambient akin to the sounds you might hear on their releases.

He´s djing under the alias Ahum since 1980. Somebody along the way gave him the name Klakke because he always wear that. 
In 1995 he started his first label Toothpick. 1997 he founded Kraak with some intervals active there upto 2015. 
Since 2016 he´s running Knotwilg which is the main focus. Not only as label but also as a kind of old-school mail-order.
Knotwilg records is a label that acts as a personal portal to accessible experimental music, independent of any particular movement or era. Releasing music and distributing like-minded artists in a contemporary
DIY style. Co-curating concerts, events and the annual Knotwilg festival.
