In this episode we speak with Lara Pearl; London based artist and curator of the Experimental Electronics series of events. Topics discussed range from DIY ethics and the ideologies implicit through self-sufficienct use of DIY hardware in the music and art world, giving us not only an idea of her interest and vision for her own work and curation, but also a comment on the state of the creative community today. Moving from the history of the DIY movement to contemporary performances making use of such technology, Lara, in discussion with Istishhad Hheva, gives us an insight in the extent of a movement that nowadays might be taken for granted.
