To coincide with the release of their anticipated debut album "Battle Cry",
Brooklyn-based duo Tour de Force (TDF) is revealing one of its most
exclusive dubplate production, the anthemic "Soundboy Prayer". The track has
been a staple of the duo's live set and is a hallmark of TDF's unique
production style and ability to cross pollinate influences within the realm
of bass music. Epic horn lines and ominous synth melody are complemented by
Johnny Osbourne's haunting vocal samples, all contributing to the track's
eerie quality. "Soundboy Prayer" was made to resonate loud and clear in the
sound system arena... Soundboys beware!
