The first Nachti Pod of the 2023 festival comes from Victor. The skilled DJ played a set that felt like a 4-in-1. Starting with a special tribute to the Nachti story, slowly easing it in with the deeper sides of house before peaking into shuffling techno and finally putting a bass music cherry on top.

Chapeau Victor! That set was arguably one of the most memorable moments of the last get together in Olganitz and now it’s finally online, for everyone to listen to it over and over and over again…

‘1 of the microhouse events, that took the name Space Edition, and hosted the Canadian Mathew Jonson, a member of Cobblestone Jazz, and 1 of the founders of Wagon Repair record label. That evening, Mathew divided the music area with Donato Dozzy, a resident DJ and famous today in the international electronic scene. In this recording, Dozzy is playing at the opening, while the set of Jonson, is in the central part. There are 3 or 4 jumps in the track, because that night the recorder had some problems’.

We like Ezio alot. In fact, everyone likes Ezio a lot - even Donato Dozzy, who chose to feature Ezio & his partner Hamish's (together they are Neotex) tune "Iridescence" within his closing set at Labyrinth Festival in 2023. Hallowed turf indeed. So, we definitely take great pleasure in featuring his first submission to the Doof Spawn.

Albert, based in Brooklyn, New York, is one of those heroes that never requests a spotlight, but is consistently dedicating time and care to contribute to some of the spaces and places that the NYC & Brooklyn house and techno community holds so dear. 

Throwing long standing and much loved parties like Bob & Shirley, working tirelessly behind the scenes at a festival that has garnered global critical acclaim, throwing down all night long at Mansions, or as an always welcome and smiling face on a sun lit dance floor, Albert (Ash) has been continuously refining her DJing craft, and we couldn't be more excited to share a slice of it with you for Doof Spawn 012.

"On the second night of the festival, a usually quiet Nordic forest hums with life. A slow, steady rhythm starts the set, drawing dancers into a hypnotic flow as the misty summer air lingers and the trees sway around them. As the night deepens, the music builds—layered and psychedelic—until it reaches a peak where time blurs and everything feels slightly unreal."

Three hours of high drama, recorded live at Nowadays in New York.

We know what you're thinking: why did it take so long to get Binh on the RA Podcast? There's no easy answer, especially given that he's been a favourite of ours for over a decade now. So to make up for lost time, the revered digger lands on the series with a tantalising three-hour mix, recorded live at Nowadays in New York earlier this year.

Crammed with rare and unreleased gems spanning house, techno, and electro, RA.989 is heavy on drama, catching the Düsseldorf native in unbridled performance mode.

This is Binh in 2025. But rewind across the past two decades and you'll find a DJ who excels in pretty much any situation, whether warming up for Zip or Margaret Dygas, going back-to-back with masters like Nicolas Lutz or rolling out solo sets that stretch across ten or even 12 hours.

He's acted out all these scenarios most often at Berlin institution Club der Visionaere, the cosy canalside club that became a kind-of spiritual home. (He'd sometimes spend every night of the week there, before parenting duties got the better of him.)

To play for half a day you need a lot of records, and the backbone of Binh's craft has long been a freakish passion for vinyl. Along with Lutz, Vera, and others in CDV's orbit, he approaches the pursuit of wax, new and old, with next-level dedication and a fondness for blind buys. 

That's true of RA.989, although among the un-Shazamables are many tracks that are either out or coming out on Binh's popular Time Passages label. The mix finds him on a house-y tip, luxuriating in roomy basslines, driving 303s and twinkly melodies—with just the right amount of evil. Lock in and savour a one-of-a-kind DJ, completely in the zone.
