over the next following months my mixes will be fouced on the set style played in Ibiza since i a moving there in may. I will still upload techno and hardgroove when i have the time but house tech house and disco will be the main focus for now.

IBIZA House grooves 01

This is the second installment if my Ibiza styled mix series. I really like how this one turned out im still experementing with different styles of what can and what will work well. I have filled this one up with more reconisable sounds and tunes that groove well together.

Still waiting to find someone that can fix my mixer as the filters are dodgy so if u hear any artifacts when im using my filters its not me I swear ahahah :(

IBIZA house grooves 2

This is a set i did as a freestyle livestream for my mixcloud. I have packed this set with some of the best tunes in the underground techno scene at the moment as well as some trance and a few original productions from liam and myself (J:CODE)

One of my xlrs broke before the stream so i had to record this one in mono so the mix might not feel as spacious however we will have this sorted for the next one

Hard Hypnotic Grooves

Here is my entry for PLTFRNM festivals 2024 competition. This festival holds a special place in my heart as it was my first ever festival/larger scaled event I have been to, it really opened my eyes to the vastness of the Techno scene. I have been back every year ever since attending the one in 2021, I highly recommend this festival for real techno lovers the crowd and the atmosphere is like nothing else out there!!

This was a really fun project to work on, I was just testing the bounderies with my production skills and sound design. All the work is my own either synthesised or layered. The sound pallet of this track combindes elements from psytrance mixed with a fast paced techno feel to it.

So i did a this mix to showcase off how creative you can get with transitions when using a djm900 mixer.

I have a video to upload along with this mix that will be going on my YouTube channel. @phazej

This mix isnt about being perefect its more just a jam session testing the bounderies with creative transitions and using a djm to its full capabiltiy. Some of the mixinng techniques used are completly self taught through experimentation, they can also be applied to most 4/4 music. 

I wanted to create this video and mix for many reasons. To showcase my skills for one but to also help and maybe inspire some of the djs that are getting to use club gear. 

With 8 years of djing experience i would rather share my knowledge and tricks than gatekeep them. We are all in this music scene together and its a not competition even tho it can feel like that sometimes.
