Cie & Mar io's latest work, "Mindmodulator", plays with the senses and opens doors to new, unexplored dimensions of the mind. The original mix starts furiously right away and brings the synapses to a boil with its intense and hypnotic break, only to burn itself explosively into the head. In the fiery remix of Zweig, the pads dance on groovy 303 basslines and enchant the deep parts of the brain. The suspenseful "Hot Mix", on the other hand, flows deeper and deeper into unimagined areas, heats the temperature inexorably, so that you can no longer escape its powerful pull and the modulations illuminate even the most hidden convolutions of the brain. This high energy level is also reached in a very short time by the "live version", which was recorded uncut as part of a performance on the radio station sonus fm, and immediately makes the neurons dance on all levels. In short, four electrifying variants of "Mindmodulator" that can change reality!

One year on since the first installment, the mighty Hot Creations turn up the heat as they get set to unleash ‘Hot Summer Jams 2’, featuring eight exclusive tracks from familiar faces and blossoming new talents. 

The first half of the v/a welcomes back some favourite artists with the first track coming from label head and main man himself Jamie Jones, hot off the heels of some far reaching releases as Hot Natured and solo anthems. He delivers the storming future anthem, ‘Danger Mouse’. Next up Suara boss Coyu delivers ‘The Cat’ featuring the stunning vocals of Cari Golden. On an old school tip, New Yorker MANIK hits us with ‘Freak Your House feat. MC Kew G’ followed by a dance ready track from Alexis Raphael, who had his first track signed to Hot Waves back in 2011.

Dynamic duo Leftwing & Kody make their first appearance on the label as they team up with Cera Alba to deliver the heavy duty ‘I Got One Way’. Newcomers David Glass & CDC, Sean Branton and Neil Parkes also make their debuts on the label with serious impact. We recently had a remix competition for one of Drunken Kong's tracks called 'Peace'. Over 300 producers submitted their remixes and we chose three winners. Japan's Hisashi Aochi delivered a Balearic piano infused remix, whereas Italian's Stiv Hey and The Southern gave the track a more peak time treatment. To finish off the winners, UK's Ettica delivered a sublime melodic interpretation. We are very proud of all the remix submissions and want to congratulate the winners for a job well done!
